Jack made us believe, in the Summer of 1990 this Country were sure we could win the World Cup and beat the Superpowers of football.
we got to the last 8 which for a small country was remarkable. Imagine getting to the last 8 and never actually winning a single game. We had luck on our side all through the world cup and italy were lucky that they put us out

these are references to Euro '88 (Germany)
It was realised in 88 re released in 90
Wheres the '94 reference?
They say
June 11 English Game/We can do the trick again (meaning the 1-1 draw hadn't yet happened)
and

which they did not have in '94
they were a sort of rock band - years afterwards they became a Queen tribute act I think

They sung songs completely live and that's someone queen couldnt do

@@JasonRay1977 Oh I don't think I've ever seen that. A long time ago, someone who said they wrote the song either commented here or sent me a message through TH-cam (a feature I think since removed, along with the messages), if you look through the comments you might be able to find it.
