I get my Christian book recommendations from my friends, from your channel 😊 and also Back2theWord channel, I also have a goodreads account, and I got to know a LOT of books from there.

Thank you for all you do, Walter! I’ve only started reading Christian books the past year or so and I’m finding them so encouraging! I appreciate your recommendations and your platform.

Could you please create a video showcasing your bookshelf and giving us a tour? It would be incredibly helpful and interesting for us in many ways. Seeing your collection and how you organize it can provide great ideas and inspiration for our own bookshelves. We're eager to see the books you have and hear about why they are meaningful to you. Thank you for considering making this video!

    A. A. Hodge once said that seminaries work to connect the Church of the past with today's Church through their writings. As you explained the importance of being a voice for those dead authors I couldn't help but to think that, somehow, doing book recommendations serves a similar purpose.
Thanks for the video and your work!

I enjoy your content and am encouraged by your challenge to read through books together. Where I get my book recommendations from friends, broken warfe, Founders Ministry, soild ground books, banner of truth, reformation heritage.

Thank you for the work you do! I can say it is so valuable for me as a Christian. There is a thousand reasons why we should share deep Christian books, and and the main reason - it glorifies God!
Now I feel I am in a spiritual slump, leaving alone the fact that I struggle a long-lasting depression😔Maybe I don't read enough spiritual books...
And I have a question for you - have you ever noticed that reading classical fiction affected your spiritual condition in a bad way? I was reading classics for some time, the books are clean in their content, but I start feeling like they are moving me from God. Should I completely cut it off?😓 Is it my own perception or such books can really do a Christian harm if reading in a row? Did you have such an experience?

Great thoughts Walter. I don't have any specific sources for book recommendations but I usually find them from other Christian TH-camrs who may mention a book on occasion. I also get some from a Bible reading and marking group on Facebook. I also share a book when I finish it on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram

My TH-cam channel is entitled hearts for Christ and I would love to interview you for a podcast about the importance of reading. Would you be opposed to doing something like that?
