Yay for producing it in the US, Spudboys! I was expecting this to be a visit to China, but making the domes here in the USA and giving American couch potatoes jobs is a Very Good Thing Indeed.
I remember going to the US and dying to order the blue energy dome nike edition, and the blue new traditionalist pomp ... when I got there they were sold out, so I managed to get two red energy domes and a devo action figure with interchangeable heads and a wip to match :P I'm glad the resurrected the blue energy domes because they look so good and they do appeal people...they appeal so bad to me that now I'm dying to get one ...and there's no way I could make a decent DIY version of the dome :P
the material is a color matched Blue Co-extruded styrene. Co-extruded means the blue is laid up with a clear sheet on top of it to make it shiny. The thickess is probably around .060". (Not shown here) the part is routed or trimmed in some matter)
I think they make those down the road from me!!! I have seen them around the parking lots...can anyone confirm the location in NC??? They are Carolina Blue!!! Duty Now For The Future!!
I own 3 of em, one red, one blue, one autographed, they're worth the 30 bucks, they're made out of really really durable plastic, like, the same type of plastic made for construction hard hats, The ones you see at the costume shops for 20 bucks arent no where near as durable as these newer domes you can get through the website!

Did something change? Those domes are way shinier than the ones I got sent from Club Devo. I want a shiny one!
