Just got the Tangent Element as control surface - haven't set it up yet in Premiere - can these also be used in the plugin? Is there some automatic shot-matching feature included or planned (not just copy and past settings)? Owning and using filmconvert btw - is this a good synergy? I am on Windows11 and curious about this.
I have the elements, it is really cool. This kind of negates control surface, the shot matching isn't an auto matching algorithm but copying generally gives you a good starting point on footage that is similarly lit. I don't see any reason why you could use with filmconvert. We have had some beta testers report success on Windows 11. PARA WINDOWS CUANDO SALE?
Can't wait to start using cinema grade for my work. But every time I try to grade in it (windows version) and hit apply, nothing happens.
Are you still working on bug fixes? 🙏🏻
Hi Denver, what is the tablet/control surface you are using in this video?
This is the advanced panel for DaVinci Resolve.
@@colorgradingcentral Sorry, I am curious about the small tablet you are using with your right hand in the video. Thanks.

Is Cinema Grade ready for M1 yet? Or still Beta or via Rosetta only still? Just checked your site and it is still BETA for M1... It has been over a year now that M1's have been available and you all are still in Beta?
I understand your frustration ekphotography. Cinema Grade is natively compatible on Premiere and DaVinci on M1, Final Cut Pro is another story. When Apple phased out FxPlug 3 in favor of FxPlug 4 on Apple silicon hardware on FCP they did away with many of the functions to make Cinema Grade work. Other developers have been fine and still have some of the basic functions to make their plugins work. We unfortunately with you on FCP were not so lucky. So we have been working with Apple for months (we are lower on their list of priorities, but they care a lot) we report issues, they track those issues and slowly we have been seeing progress being made on correcting or adding the new FxPlug functions back in. Sometimes these solutions work, other times they don't. We exchange email on almost a daily basis and things are now finally looking promising as the latest fix from Apple seems to have solved the problem and we are now seeing Cinema Grade run nativeely in FCP :) We hope that you understand and can be patient with running in "Rosetta" mode a little while longer. We will let you know as soon as we know more and it is ready for you :)
I can never get cinema grade to work. I just went from it not working with compressor to now getting the red plugin error on Final Cut Pro! Every time apple does an update cinema grade fails on me!
Sent email to support@cinemagrade.com so we can track and troubleshoot the issue.
@@colorgradingcentral thanks for the quick reply.
Insane!
Thanks!
This was really helpful to get me started. Is the plug in M1 compatible?

@@colorgradingcentral I totally understand. Are thee any performance issues running Cinema Grade in Rosetta?
@@eastbayjay not really, but there are some unexpected results in edge cases in "Rosetta" mode, Cinema Grade included. We are waiting for update from Apple.
@@colorgradingcentral Thanks for the quick reply. Can I ask what are edge cases?

thank you for your content and contribution to the color grading process... I want to be able to integrate the cinemagrade tool TO EDIT VIDEO directly on the iPad Pro without the Final Cut, Premiere, DaVincci indispensble MacOSX centralisation...
My comment is to contribute to your initiative to contribute with your contributing product CONTRIBUTING!!! 😂😂😂
Is a separate license needed for each host application? Or will this still work if I purchased this when I was using final cut, but now use DVR?
Same license but there is an upgrade option if you visit cinemagrade.com/#buy and choose the option 'All hosts' under the upgrade offers.
Is it a stand alone plug-in

Here's your unique link in case you want to learn more: link.cinemagrade.com/fQh6IZ
@@colorgradingcentral Thanks. just watched the "whats inside" video on your shop-page.
But what is about creating power-windows and an automated tracking solution for those?
@@chainshot we don't have shape/mask support but are considering something similar in future versions.
@@colorgradingcentral Mask + tracking is a must have. If you can give premiere users a davinci resolve kinda advantage within premiere this surface i am fully in and even happy with a bigger pricetag - but i dont want use like various plugins nd several different user interfaces. It is all about speed.
@@chainshot 90% of the work is balancing and matching shots and this excels in this area. Sometime you do want to lighten a face or light the shot a bit differently but the majority of shots don't require shapes.

isnt it Option, Command (not control) F for false colours Denver?
@Denverriddle brilliant tutorial btw, need to use CG more often the way you've shown it here
Yes replace command to control on PC. This is demo'd on Mac but next week the videos coming are all done on Windows 🙌🏼
You've made a giant mistake. C is for Cookie. That's good enough for me. C is not for Contrast!
