Coming from Aviation technical background. These staff played a huge role in the Airline's fall. Jet operated a fleet of 100 aurcraft with 20k employees. While Indigo operates around 220 aircraft with 14k employees. Plus jet paid higher salaries than Indigo. A large part of the jet staff got their jobs via internal references and not actual Interview/Talent.
100% correct. Typical worker mentality of white collar staff of the Airline. Also the staff looking after online booking didn't take any steps, just kept on accepting bookings and payment. Many have not received their refund. 3rd grade cheap mentality of Management.

E if you insist to pay tax on T-shirt you bought, and unluckily the T-shirts founds to be defective, you will return the T-shirt and ask for refund, you are gonna get the equal refund, of what you returned it, he can not deduct the tax from the refund amount, he has to give your amount with the tax, the same thing had happened with this airline, they are not asking for salary, but for the tax they paid earlier.

I have flown with Jetairways, only 3 times! I never had any negative experience with them. They were as polite as I was to them. I hope it recovers back.

I couldn’t agree with you more. My mother used Jet last year from London to Punjab via Delhi return. She is an elderly lady with a heart condition. On her return leg from Amritsar to Uk via Delhi, Jet cancelled the flight, because the plane was not full, but they lied and gave a reason for the weather when it was perfectly fine. Then the next day she managed to get on from Amritsar, but when she arrived at Delhi they cancelled the flight to the UK. She was in a panic and explained to them about her heart condition. They took the passengers to the available hotels but made the passengers pay for the hotels, yes, you read that correctly, they refused to pay for the accommodation even though they cancelled their flight. My mother managed to get on a return flight three days later. I wrote email after email asking them to reimburse my mother but they just ignored every email. When I saw how Jet Airways are treating their customers I predicted they will go bankrupt in one year. That was in January 2018. Guess what? 15 months later they have gone bankrupt. I’m not surprised. We would never have used them ever again, nor would all my friends and relatives after I told them what happened.
I agree with you too. I had a terrible experience with jet airways that's wasn't in a year. And I so told them right on the rude employees that I would never ever travel through it. The staff was so rude even the managers. Karma returnsm we had begged them to let us in the flight it was an emergency in a domestic flight from Mumbai to Delhi . We were just 4 minutes later after the luggage drop closed and way before the gate closure but they still dint let us board the flight. Even they kept us waste more time and later on said it's just 20 minutes for the flight to take off. We can't let you in.. hell of a nonsense we reached 45 minutes before the gate closure.

I liked your point, a pilot earns a starting salary of more than 1.5 Lakhs a month, half there pay for Air hostesses, Ground staffs etc. If there is even a slight fluctuation in the company,there pay becomes really a burden.
TCS once laid off its 35k senior employees. They too took to the streets but later on went to find other jobs. They did not blame the govt for what their company had done to them.

Coming from Aviation technical background. These staff played a huge role in the Airline's fall. Jet operated a fleet of 100 aurcraft with 20k employees. While Indigo operates around 220 aircraft with 14k employees. Plus jet paid higher salaries than Indigo. A large part of the jet staff got their jobs via internal references and not actual Interview/Talent.

Also the staff looking after online booking didn't take any steps, just kept on accepting bookings and payment.
Many have not received their refund. 3rd grade cheap mentality of Management.

E if you insist to pay tax on T-shirt you bought, and unluckily the T-shirts founds to be defective, you will return the T-shirt and ask for refund, you are gonna get the equal refund, of what you returned it, he can not deduct the tax from the refund amount, he has to give your amount with the tax, the same thing had happened with this airline, they are not asking for salary, but for the tax they paid earlier.

I couldn’t agree with you more. My mother used Jet last year from London to Punjab via Delhi return. She is an elderly lady with a heart condition. On her return leg from Amritsar to Uk via Delhi, Jet cancelled the flight, because the plane was not full, but they lied and gave a reason for the weather when it was perfectly fine. Then the next day she managed to get on from Amritsar, but when she arrived at Delhi they cancelled the flight to the UK. She was in a panic and explained to them about her heart condition. When I saw how Jet Airways are treating their customers I predicted they will go bankrupt in one year. That was in January 2018.
Guess what? 15 months later they have gone bankrupt.

I agree with you too. I had a terrible experience with jet airways that's wasn't in a year. And I so told them right on the rude employees that I would never ever travel through it. The staff was so rude even the managers. Karma returnsm we had begged them to let us in the flight it was an emergency in a domestic flight from Mumbai to Delhi . We were just 4 minutes later after the luggage drop closed and way before the gate closure but they still dint let us board the flight. Even they kept us waste more time and later on said it's just 20 minutes for the flight to take off. We can't let you in.. hell of a nonsense we reached 45 minutes before the gate closure.
It's all the game of modi government ..to prepare jet airline to get shut down so that Ambani can take charge over it easily..

We have minimum 45-50 lacs loan once employed as pilots, it's horrid being piss poor for so many years trying to pay back the money.
Only sector which can give u job security is Government Job Sector..If u go and start doing job in private sector or else Own business, there is huge risk of putting Job Security on risk..
But on other hand u can't be dependent on finding government job.Bcos getting government job is something competetional now a days..
Life is risk and life is uncertain too..U can't predict what going to happen next in life..
