It's funny because I was thinking about the passage of time and Nick leaving so young and such talent that when I was recording "Who Knows Where The Time Goes?" by Sandy Denny I ended up somehow intuitively by no means I can explain singing in my amateurishness a verse in tribute to Nick and to John Martyn in my YT video! I mean it just happened while I was recording different takes so I left it in! So we pass on like leaves from a tree, flying floating in colors, then emerge green again in another place and time...
I've got the song off the album but this version really accentuates his outstanding guitar skill and how good a songwriter he was. He didn't need all those strings and glossy overproduction. I actually prefer this version. Where did you get this??
