you can open the trunk from the back seats. it is much easier than messing ard with the bolts by the engine. old gt ones you have to take off the right back seat (15mn job) then small rubber cover behind the back rest and there is a lever. the GTC has socket tool or use the same size socket wrench,fetch the hole after (you open the ski door between the 2 back seats), on the left side of the left back seat you turn it and it opens the trunk . between the back seats you can also extend a bar to reach the Green safety lever mounted on the truck door. these are the 3 safe methods. Bentleys are master of complications vehicles . always unplug the negative 1st then the positive ,plugging back start with positive then negative otherwise your bento might go on safety lock again.
In a few of these videos on hooking battery cables, I noticed that the order of hooking the cables, the ground is hooked first and then the positive, but it's actually the opposite which should be done, the positive first and then the negative, I'm just saying.
The left side battery you attached the cables to is for the electrical accessories only. The starting battery is on the right side of the trunk.
(From standing at the back of the car) Right on the UK is the Smaller Battery, Left is the Larger.
I have a 2008 GTC Speed I am trying to get started (Open the Boot). I found the connectors and attached a booster to it but but boot switch not working. Do I need to have the key in the ignition? I know some Bentleys will lock the key in the ignition with a dead battery and the car is outside in a public area, so I wanted to confirm before I lock the key in the ignition and it doesn't work.
