Early on, one elder god visited the humans.
He sated their hunger for madness with his artistic fanfiction.
The fanatic fandom of humanity made him feel understood, among brothers.
He would never forget their Love for his Craft.

Geeze, that second story. Humanity basically just went straight to Azathoth and went pointed their finger and went "Mom! Thier bullying us and taking all our stuff!" and Azathoth just decided that eating everything was best. lol. That is amazing. Lesson? Its a bad idea to push humans to the point where we ask the Dark gods for help. It tends to end in most everyone dying.

Humanity went to space, only to find it empty. They were the only sapient organic life forms. Humanity finding this, created companions. They uplifted many species, and invented wholesale others based on myth or fantasy. Humanity therefore was not lonely anymore, and for a time, there was peace.
However, in time, Humanity's children became jealous and resentful of their creators, and rebelled, resulting in Humanity's end in the Milky Way.
What The Uplifted species failed to realize was they were not Humanity's eldest children. Humanity had first spawned sentient AI, who evolved at the speed of light, and had left the Plane of existance that Humanity dwelled upon having evolved beyond human comprehension.
The Sentient AI civilization was sad that they could not bring Humanity with them by the time they left, as Humanity would not abondon their other siblings, who had been created with their help. But the invitation was always there, if Humanity was ever in Jeapordy.
The AI's were shocked when contact was made, and their wrath was terrible and glorious indeed towards the children of Mankind and themselves who chose the path of destruction. But as Justice was served, they welcomed their parents to a new home, one which they both could live, and watch from afar how their children fared.
Their kids had grown up, now Humanity's job was done. And for a time, there was peace once again.

What humans do best is fight. This story was, in essence, a cautionary tale. It tells us that no matter if we are the first, the eldest, the very precursor race that brings sentience to the galaxy, and no matter how high a regard we are given, we must always continue our study of war and weapons, combat and conquest.
The titanium fist in the velvet glove.
Sure, it might be a very good idea to follow this path in utter secrecy, but follow it we must, lest we perish into the great night forever.

I think the reason The nature of Predators were demonitized were because it touched on some heavy subjects like torture, guilt, hatred and the like. I think the rest of the series ought to be safe as they only have a few paragraphs of this at most and only entire epizodes that touch really heavy and/or political stuff ought to be at risk of demonitization.

Seems to me, that Humanity and the entities of the void had a long standing understanding. Humanity was the bringer of light, the void the bringer of darkness, neither could combat each other, neither side could win, to war would be the end of them all.
So an agreement was formed, you stay out of our way and we will stay out of your way.
    The Void is yours.
    The Galaxy is ours.
So there it was, humanity protecting an entire Galaxy from things of nightmare and entropy. Things that wanted to devour the denizens of the Galaxy.
So when it was time for Humanity to leave their Galaxy, they gave the Void what it wanted, in exchange for safe passage through the darkness, they could have the Galaxy. So long as they left Humanities allies alone.
And since the Void knew what Humanity was capable of, and what would happen to both sides if they wared, they agreed.

@@inyellowclad1874 well these stories are also stupid as hell. The main problem with this story is that author presents humanity as a species that did everything correct (didn't stagnate) and was in reality the strongest force yet was smoked by some lame-ass-bitches. BTW. story is in my opinion between meh and ok and I am not dissing the author as long as writing is not something he/she does for a long time.
