Gundam amateur thoughts: Master Grade Mk. II 2.0 1/100 scale Anime mech model

Not a review, but a happy Gunpla amateur's look at a Bandai Gundam model kit, the Master Grade Mk. II ("Mark Two") version 2.0 from Zeta Gundam, built essentially kit-stock except for a satin clear topcoat. Most of my kits are built live on Twitch on Sundays & Mondays / thejang

I grabbed the AEUG version recently, and I quite enjoy it-it shows its age a little with the ball-joint hips and the polycaps
but man it does look good, and has very nice sliding armor gimmicks in the arms and especially the legs

Love the aesthetics of this kit. What are your opinions on the Turn A gundam? I love that the MG comes with a little cow lol.

Man, Mk ii is perhaps my all time favorite. My personal gripe I have on the mg 2.0 is sorta the proportions of its accesories, but afterall it is a pretty old kit, that and its really the only mg of the Mk ii anyone should really only get, unless its that 1.0 nostalgia and fun theyre looking for. I decided to opt for the rg version of the mk ii because of its technicality, but im suprised to see in your review of the moving parts, which has swayed my opinions on this kit. Just wondering how itll hold up in the long run, but overall looks like a great mix of anime accuracy and realism! From this angle I might just get it.

A very nice MKII, I absolutely love the MKII titans the color is so nice and surprisingly unique for a Gundam.
I’m surprised how close the RG version got to the MGs.
