I went with the HG and I was completely happy with the purchase. Comes with 4 beam SWORDS. Not sabers. I detailed up and used waterslides. Goes great with all my HG Zeta kits
I've just finished building and painting this model and I've got to say its one of my all time favorite MG's. Its such an impressive and imposing looking model, its almost PG size as well. Only downside is the RRP IMO the perfect price range for this would have been in the 7,000 to 8,000 region rather that 12,000. Also agree with you, Bandai should have supplied 4 sabers.
Very positive review. Very quick as well; think this is the first one up. I was pretty damn pesimistic from the pictures, but when he arrived, that was all forgotten. One of my favourite suits, and, like you put it, the price didn't really matter; just HAD to have him. That decal is supposed to be some sort of digital camo design, I'd think. In that case, I suppose anywhere that has a large space would be perfect, if you had to use it at all.
This review made up my mind. I am getting this kit and I will be doing a custom for it and will post a video. it may even be my first gundam model video. thanks jabman025 your reviews are awesome
Great review, I just got this model yesterday and I personally think its a great model. I'm planning to paint and apply some panel lines and customization to the kit so it will be several weeks before I'm finished my build. Your model looks great with the decals applied. I believe the strange sticker is for use on the legs. Thanks for such a positive review of THE-O.
That kit would be MASSIVE! I want one! Although, to be honest, an HGUC Xamel is more likely than an MG as the latter would need a HUGE box like The O & Ver Ka Sazabi which would take up a lot of space on store shelves.
I hand painted all 50 some odd thrusters, but the end result was absolutely worth it. I also swapped out all the piping for metal pipes and it wasn't cheap.😂 Once again, worth it.
Aside from the price; my main gripe with the kit is, as you mentioned; that he only has two Beam Saber effect parts. The HGUC kit came with four so why not the meant-to-be-superior Master Grade?
HAHA! you had the same idea as me, to steal the extra Beam Sabers from Qubeley. for the money issue I got it for myself as a present for passing my PHD Qualifier. I also have it set up just as you do on 8:27 . Seeing as how well they did this I do hope we eventually get Kshatriya.
there is one thing that always confused the hell out of me with the O...why is it so heavily armored? didn't the invention of beam weaponry make heavy armor obsolete?
BlitzkriegOmega Well beams don’t totally negate armour it’s just to be able to shrug off beams you need to armour the suit to an impractical level hence The-O is the size of 6th generation suit during the 3rd Generation.
A few things I have noticed: 1. The arms are way too loose, they drop easily. 2. Waist is too loose and I can see you are having the same experience. 3. Legs are not really posable. 4. only 2 beam slabers! This is not acceptable for such an expensive MG model. Considering it costs 12,000 Yen I prefer to other Models since they have a batter quality.
This Review really proves that sometimes your review is Bias..(Sorry for being Harsh...) I completely understand if you like THE O... but if you consider the quality of this kit and its price tag, i guess its too expensive seeing that you only get a detail of master grade similar to 90's MG and external Detail Similar to its HGUC, the internal frame detail is dull and aswell as its gimmick, and then they charge you a price almost similar to a Perfect Grade.... And if you compare this Kit to MG Sazabi Ver Ka... if you consider the Price and the quality youll get from Sazabi Ver. Ka.. this kit, not only expensive, but also lacks interms of detail, gimmick etc.. and if you see rrobbert184.. yeah other people may say that his review sometimes is too negative but atleast he is fair and honest in his review even though he like that MS, he doesnt compromise any negative he see in a certain kit.and by that it also helps new modeler or other people weather or not to buy a certain kit..

David Matsunaga You know this video is 4 years old right? Sazabi ver. ka is a 2014 kit. Don't bash him for things he said and compare the model to master grades that didn't even exist at the time he made the video.
+David Matsunaga Not to mention this is supposed to be show accurate. Not a designer take of whatever they want like ver ka. MkII and Zeta ver 2.0 are still pretty plain, just better frames.
you got the wrong point. im not interested on the outer Detail yeah it has Good Outer detail but the gimmick and internal detail is lacking.. considering its price. thats the Bias Point Jabman only consider the Ms not the price. its too over price seeing that that it lacks gimmick and internal detail.

This kit would be massively improved if they ever make a 2.0 or a Ver Ka

When you were showing off the chest and had the cockpit open, I saw a bird head. Just me?
1:15 I see what you mean.
I always wanted a MG xamel. I feel your passion for the o but its the xamel for me
That kit would be MASSIVE! I want one!

I'm finally getting mine this week! YAY!.
Miss your reviews. I hope your doing OK. Your my favorite reviewer. Hope to see something from you soon.

Most expensive MG
UNICORN MGEX: hold my beam magnum

I was kinda hesitating whether to buy the kit or not (obviously due to its price). But after watching your review, I have now made up my mind. =]

yeah, no MG Kshatriya is just sad

The O looks better than I thought after all the decals and panel lines. :)
It's kinda weird that the manual looks like the old kit one because the zaku 2.0 has the manual with the art and it's from 2007 . The O came in 2010 .
great review, not many people went for this because of the price.
love 'em bulky robots! i have the 1/144 scale
Noel Domingo is the hg any good ?
kinda hard to pose, but its fair. I just let them stand...
I saw on a videogame that his beam rifle can become two beam rifles
Bandai should produce the entire titan line-up on MG scale, seriously.....and when are they gonna get a hambrabi HG at least?
MG or no grade .. :P
I got one..465 ringgit malaysia..now price donno
impressive! a nice kit for the UC fans!
I have the HG O and that's as big as some master grades!
Great review man! A lot of articulation for such a huuge kit!
wow such a nice kit

@@sinanjubaron1274 think he was being sarcastic
I just Love the-o, its such a menacing Mobile suit, but i'm a poor student so I cant afford its 9000 Yen price tag after buying my Zeta 2.0 T-T
Kono The O da
Paptimus may be the man, but it still looks like he's wearing a bump-it.
hi man i have a question. Is the o a very hard kit, because im getting one soon?
Lol Found it. Awsome..
space potato!
I'd love to see a mg Kshatriya
Review 2.0
One Bandai O equals two Daban "O"s....($59 each). BUT as with bootlegs, the fit is an issue. But as long as i got one!
