I'm curious how long you could use this before you experienced reduced water pressure or the sand started to come out of the shower head again? Basically what is the capacity in terms of days/weeks? Also, I recall hearing that sand can accumulate in your hot water heater, so it might be worth draining that and having it serviced if you have one and haven't thought of that yet.
