Highly underrated album. It is so good.
This guitar solo!!!🔥
I adore this live recording.
When I saw the amplifier for sale that the guitarist uses here, I didn't hesitate for a moment.
Much to the detriment of my neighbors
Back with an Absolute Banger. Love this performance. Great reaction. Looking forward to more reactions on the channel.
Nice, yeah Rush brings us to another level. I saw this as a Dutch guy in Germany in 2004. I think the R30 tour had the most guitar orientated set list of Rush ever live. They started this concert with an opener that will blow you away. I think you can find it under ‘best intro ever’. 😂
I have to say that I have seen the boys 5 times and every time I would get blown away by Alex. First time I saw them the first set I couldn't take my eyes off of Neil but that guy is soooo fucking impressive hard not too watch him, but Alex just sounds so good on a live mix. I always found it a little off in the mix of the DVD shows. Always felt like when I was there it was just a perfect mix
@@benredmond6636 yeah true, looks like Geddy is dominant in the end product of the mixing. Alex is a giant, they all are.
I felt the same way, Geddy was front and center, couldn’t not hear him, same with the drums. I was loosing Alex in the mix a little bit. Thanks for watching/listening guys
@@anksreacts $$$ Wait til You start doing "The Warning" band reactions...(3 sisters from Mexico, they sing in English), begin with 'Evolve' live at MTV VMA's. TRUST ME= lots of views and comments...many many!
This is the song to play for anyone that doubts the speed and accuracy of Neil's bass foot.
I am a new Rush fan, and this is my current favorite live performance video! I love the darkness and intensity of this song. If you want another intense live performance (and if you haven't reacted to it already), I suggest the performance of 'Jacob's Ladder' live from the R40 tour.
Hi! It's good to hear from new RUSH fans. This really is a great performance by the boys. I agree with the Jacob's Ladder pick. Keep rocking
Welcome to the family, cult, army. Whatever we Rush fans are lol
Look up Xanadu live 1981. Best live performance they did in my opinion.
My all-time favorite Rush outro
Oh so this is an outro to an album? Makes sense, ends spectacularly
@@anksreacts It is, but I meant the outro part of the song itself but that it is the outro to the entire album makes it doubly ominous which was how a lot of us felt in those nuclear panicked times.
My all time favorite Rush guitar solo.
Yes. Being there was awesome. This tour was the first time I saw them, and I have been a fan since 1982. Listening to them live was just a different experience.
Yes, being there was always f'ing awesome. Became a fan at 14 (in 1982) and the album on which this song can be found was the basis for the first Rush tour I saw, in 1984.
We love and miss you too, glad you are back, with another banger...thanks again Todd from Ohio ❤😂
I’m gonna try to stay around this time lol thanks for tuning in
Thanks!@@anksreacts
Got to know. 3 guys. The drummer writes the lickerts.
Geddy plays bass. Keyboard and sings. Alex the guitar
under rated .God bless Neal Peart. Drummer who died with brain cancer. They were on the go Since 1974. First album. Just crazy
Nice to see you back! This song is a banger!!!🔥🔥🔥
Song suggestions
Natural Science from the Molson Amphitheatre Toronto
Digital Man from the Snakes and Arrows tour
Show don't tell (rabbits from a hat intro) Presto tour 1990
Cheers 🇨🇦
One of my favorite Rush songs. Deep track.
Great to see you again! Would love to hear your reaction to the live version of Animate from this same concert. From the 1993 album titled Counterparts
This is the one
Amazing! Good to have you back!
😘 Welcome back! 🤗 We missed you! 😍 And you're back with Rush too! 😁🥰🐰
Glad to see you back!
Rush on Bro!
Definitely my favorite song off of GUP.👍
Alex is doubling the higher keyboard part in the verses my dude.
They do so many things, just the 3 of them, it’s hard to follow. I can’t imagine being able to do any of it
Seen every tour since power windows except the last tour, wasn't able to make that one.😢
That’s awesome!!
Welcome to the magical world of Rush! So many masterpieces to explore. I highly recommend the song "The Weapon" off their album Signals. Here's a live performance: th-cam.com/video/LyPpBpGiZ8Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4-KOh3YDZzGf1RtX
I’ll check it out
Wanna see how deep Rush's lyrics really were? This song references the turn of the 20th century and they hid it withing the lyrics:
We can go from boom to bust --- The Great Depression 1929
From dreams to a bowl of dust --- The Dust Bowl 1930
We can fall from rockets' red glare -- Reference to the Star Spangled Banner
Down to "Brother, can you spare..." - "Brother Can You Spare a Dime" popular song from 1932
Another war, another wasteland --- World War I 1918
And another lost generation --- The generation born and growing up during World War 1 is called "The Lost Generation"
Brilliant. Song writing when done correctly is one of the greatest forms of art. Thank you for this btw, I get too emotionally invested in the music sometimes
Best band...ever.
Bold claim. They are definitely up there though
@@anksreacts Feel free to tell me who has more talent. 😆
