I got the bulb replaced for the speedometer and then yesterday I heard that siren noise you mentioned and had my RPM gage bulb go out! I am going to try to lube the cable and see if it happens again. Again thank you for this video! @@ninja250motorcyclemaintena7
It happens to me about once a year, but bulbs have only gone out twice. My speedometer cable was screaming like crazy yesterday and the day before. Thankfully no bulbs went out.
When it takes a 50 minute long video to describe how to replace a bulb in the instrument panel the correct solution would be to ship the bike COD back to Japan and have the chief engineer at Kawasaki replace it! Maybe next time he would think twice before making a simple job so complex?
Hi. I have never taken the tail off on my bike. I would suggest buying the Clymer Manual. It's only thirty dollars and it probably has a diagram showing the parts of the tail.
i know i'm late to the party but..... fuel gauge means you're running carb and temp gauge mean injection..... @19:30 the small black box, what is that? my regulator is sitting there (injector model)
I think you're referring to the California Evaporative emission control canister. Other states won't have this. It's not exactly a small box though, so I'm not completely sure what you're referring to. I'm not sure what you mean regarding the carb and temp gauge.
@@ninja250motorcyclemaintena7 on the right hand side of your console or dashboard you have a fuel gauge, mine is temperature. What I've read is fuel: carberated and temperature: injectors. Not sure if that makes sense. I was wondering if i can reroute my air supply lol

Thanks for the positive feedback. I replaced a rear turn signal bulb about 7 months ago. It was pretty easy. I don't remember exactly how I did it but I think you use a flathead screwdriver to take off the plastic and then push the bulb in and turn or just turn (can't remember). Then the bulb comes out. The only problem is that I couldn't find a bulb at O'Reilly's that worked so had to wait a week for an OEM from Partzilla.

Yes. The meter/instrumentation bulb for the turn signal is exactly the same for the other meter/instrumentation bulbs.

Oh. Yes. Some bikes have a temperature gauge rather than a fuel gauge. Do you have a 2008-2012 model? Was yours sold in the US?

My bike 250 speed meter analog is not function how can i exchange with digital meter can you solve my problem

All the instrumentation bulbs are the same. There are eight of them, but you don't need to replace all of them. Part # 92069-1007

Yes it should go straight in but if not use universal engine brackets! But it should go straight in.
