Fantastic! Why does all the good content on TH-cam have so few views/followers?

Why didn’t you float down to Dillingham and get out there that’s what i was wanting to do when I was out there for two years working

Yes, Kent, the country is awesome, and the fishing is amazing...in places. We were forced to hunker under a tarp for a few days, which limited the amount of leisurely fishing we were able to do.

Awesome trip. Also just watched your Kanektok River video which was great. How much did the flight cost to get out there?

Thanks, Cory. We ended up having to do two trips with the Beaver (the extra weight and bulk of motor and gas). We'd previously arranged to do the second trip in with another company's (cheaper) Cessna 185, put that plane/pilot were not available at the last minute, so we did both drops with the Beaver. $3,000 for the two flights. We were able to avoid an additional pick-up cost by motoring all the way back to Aleknagik, instead of being picked up by plane further up the system.
The Kanektok is a longer flight (from Bethel or Dillingham), and the drop-and pick-up was a bit under $3,000 for the two of us...but that was in 2019, before the big jump in fuel prices. 😞

@@DevanatNorthernNoise appreciate the info! Trying to get my dad and brothers up here for a trip so I’m researching some possible destinations.
