The weird part of this is when i load in to the server everything works fine instead of my Gas pedal xD I checked this in single game works fine idk what's going on

great video dude, followed all the trouble shooting until it says lobby registration was successful. I noticed that it doesn't say connected to steam servers like yours, thoughts?
@@Axel-ib2hp were u able to get ur server up and play? Mines does that too sometimes. Can be ignored unless ur unable to join

Hey Curious, i have ran into issues with in entry list it says to pack data for data.acd? i packed it and it went into the car folder, do you copy that and drop that into your server car folder? my friends getting checksum failed even though i sent him same cars i have.
@@Fessy77 oh ok so when u make a server its gona ask u to pack some cars. Hit yes. Itll open a folder screen. X it out and continue like normal.
For ur friend getting checksum error. Go into ur server folder, content, cars, delete data.acd for all cars and restart server :)
Can I portforward of a normal router my provider sends?
@@kallyjye some routers are capable and some are not. You would have to look your router up
if i want to add more cars after i already made the server will i have to do the AI=none thing

"Right click on car go to folder" whatever the name of that folder is, copy it
Go to ur server
Entry list and copy one of the cars u have paste all the way below, change the number for example u have 10 cars. Ur new car will be 11
And remove the name of the car and paste the folder name there.
Also in content-car folder. Create folder and paste it there. Nothing is needed inside car folder. Normally its data.acd but u dnt need. Lmk if any issues
checksum error...any solution?
on your own server? try dl a different version of the map. also if your pc is not up to speed. Your server timer might be running out before you load in. Timer for server can be set in extra_cfg
QUESTION: With the 'Port Forwarding', What do I type in the 'LAN port' section?????

Great video but I'm getting a problem opening up the assettoserver.exe: the error is "INI error. Check your server_cfg.ini or entry_list.ini around line 0.
Could not parse file cfg\server_cfg.ini while parsing line number 0 with value '' - IniParser version: 2.5.2.0"
I'm not sure if it is a Windows 11 problem or maybe something I need to update?
@@nomercyclan-lorenzopadrini7677 i think someone else was having the same issue. Make sure u pause the video and copy all settings i have in extra.cfg.
Check entry list first line. Lmk if not ill try it on my end
Hey dude, I’m having an issue when running the AssettoServer.exe file. It gets to the bottom of the black screen and then shows in red that there has been a port forwarding issue, which seems to be preventing me from running the server. Do you know how I can resolve this? Thanks 👍
@@Joshyspeeeed10 double check all port forward settings and make sure u allow both ports in firewall defender

@@BeastModeShanx10 What do you mean by cfg? If you mean all the server settings, like the car and track, I tried it with the standard server settings, but it still won’t work :(
Hey, thanks for the tutorial. I have a question: I tried to launch the server from content manager directly not the assetto server files in the description and everything seems to work fine in the logs but when I try to connect to the server I have the error message "Can’t load any information: server did not respond in given time.". So I tried your method with files in the description and here it works. Do you have any idea why the native server launcher from content manager is not working? It would be great for automation not having to pack the config and stuff.
@@phenx9197 unfortunately never tired the native server within CM. I always did it via server files.
@@BeastModeShanx10 Ok I managed to do it myself, hope it will be useful. So all you need to do is going in your assetto corsa folder and you should have the "server" folder. Once you're here rename the file "acServer.exe" to anything you want just not to lose it. Next copy your assetto server files in this folder and rename "AssettoServer.exe" to "acServer.exe". Now you should be abble to start your server directly from content manager with the "run" button

The traffic AI folder u have is incorrect. Try finding online. I believe i have it below. U might have the wrong SRP version of the track

How do you by chance turn on replays for your server, because when I exit out there is no replay option or saving it?
I witness that myself. Sometimes itll actually automatically save it for u. So go to your media tab i believe u might see it there

My SRP was missing the ai folder should I just install a new copy of the map aswell as when I launch the server it doesn’t say connected to steam servers like yours did will that cause issues ?
@@bigbombzCaptainObombs i believe i have AI for srp in description. Try that if not download a different version
How can I get more dense traffic?
Add more traffic cars when selecting cars
On extra cfg, if u go all the way down
Under traffic density
By default it will say 1. Put it up to 100 and that should do it.
on my content manager stay not available in the lite version yet

how do you do it without traffic? if i dont enable traffic, my server instantly shuts down? and i tried to enable traffic in the cfg extra folder but then it say it dosent find the AI folder, but the map i have chosen dosent have traffic??? please help me
@@ng7159 copy my other settings in cfg and keep AI false. To have AI u need ai fold specific for that map.
@@BeastModeShanx10 I tried that but it still shuts down instantly! i tried starting the server in content manager in the (server) tab, it seem to work and said it was running, so i went to online and tried to join but then i got an error message sain something about port! so i guess thats the problem! thx for the quick answer!
@@ng7159 if server is running and the prompt doesnt give u the port forwarding error thn everything is fine. Must be something with cm i never heard of this issue
I managed to figure it out, I tried to port forward and then make som new rules to the firewall then it worked! Thx for the help

U ai error. That means u dont have the correct ai folder for that version map.
I added ai in description give it a try

My server is not loading in the online lan screen, and when i click the assetto server application the cmd screen closes instantly after finishing so I cannot tell what it says. Can you help me out please?
Ok I figured this out but now I am getting a port forwarding error...is port forwarding absolutely necessary?
Yes. Go into ur server files, go into cfg
Extra_cfg
Make sure it match mines in the video.
Checksum param = yes
Also the one under it (forgot wht it said) yes on that as well

@@BeastModeShanx10 actually i am having a problem with the ai. i am able to load the server and everything, but the traffic is not spawning in. when i start the server, i am able to select a traffic car to drive. i have checked everything from the entry list having all the "AI=fixed" to the ai folder being copy and pasted into the shuto_revival_project_beta_ptb folder. any idea what is going on?
@@KodeeYang make sure u put the AI folder in the correct place
Go to extracfg and make sure ai traffic is true

update: got an updated version of map. now new error message "index was outside the bounds of the array"

@@SXSimzz when u create ur server, make sure ur not changing any settings other then checksum params. Never had this error but create a whole new server, with out changing any cfg, try running server. Lmk what happens
I had the same issue. Finally found a solution (for me) Drag the files that you ziped over for the track settings. After unpacking take them out of the folder and put them in with everything else. Then start the server and it should generate the file for you.

Port forwarding is done wrong. Make sure to allow the 2 ports in firewall

@@Rotoaster check ur port forwarding. If they cant see it. Ur probably on a basic server which is LAN only. They wont be able to join unless they are LAN as well.
When starting ur server. Does it say server has started?

Go into ur cfg copy the settings i have on screen. It wont run until u change them.

So the version of AI folder u have is not same version as the SRP u have. What u need to do is check wht SPR version u have and find AI fold for that particular version
Sup bro I got everything working the server runs and everything but when my friend tries to join any of my servers he keeps getting a CSP error and he can never load in all the way do you have any suggestions on what he should do? We already tried an updated CSP version 0.2.4

@@nxte.productions9073 in extra cfg there is something called player timeout. Its usually set to 20 or 30
Up the time a we bit more and have him load in. He might not be able to load in as fast as u since its ur server. If the loading time isnt enough, he will get kicked out

Search up srp ai folder should be able to find it. Srp downloads from some websites are missing ai

@@Joshyspeeeed10 if you want to play with just your friends, I used radmin vpn to host locally and connecting with all of them and not hosting on Kunos official servers

only 3 normal cars or traffic cars? double check ur entry list for AI=none and AI=fixed
@@BeastModeShanx10 no, everything is for some reason only 3 cars are loaded from traffic
@@ExpAxs00838 please make sure ur not using no hesi traffic or cars they are protected and cant be used

@@ExpAxs00838 if they are marked as nohesi or other they dont usually work for me. Change out the traffic list and give it a try
