Just a quick one, when installing grips, just spray 2 times water inside the grip and it will slidee on like a dream, after that just leave overnight,, or use heatgun to dry. done mine, holds well.
Man, when you pulled that bike out I thought, "What the f---! He's gone mess it up?! That bike is sweet!" Well, it's it's BAD A--, after! Well done! Very cool that you include your son in some of your projects. Doing thing like that, is going to be wonderful memories for him with his Dad as he grows up! Great job Sir!
Don't take this too personally but this is you're best video to date imo. Nice clean swaps and it definitely looks much better to me but im a huge bobber fan, well done sir.
Thanks man. The lighting in that part of the shed is deadly. I also been trying to clip things together better. I am soon going to purchase studio lights for the other part
Now that is some realistic modeling ;) haha great fun video, really enjoyed that :) more of this please, it's so cool to see how practical you are, and the results are wicked :) Edited to add - I forgot to say I loved you getting your son involved; that's some seriously awesome parenting right there :)
Thanks for the kind words, the boys where around that whole weekend, had a few moments like that, but the camera wasn't rolling. There are actually around a lot, and I have to edit them out of the videos some times, as my wife is not real comfortable having them on camera, but this time I told her I really wanted to keep that little clip in and she agreed.
First thing I thought when I saw the build in the daylight was "that's nice, but, damn, he needs to get rid of those footboards", and then, you said it.
This is not bobbing a motorcycle man 😊 this is how fortunate Canadians with garage space toss money on replacement parts! Just pulling your leg. Seriously, nice bike and a successful bobbing method especially for those who do not garages. P.S.: I would "tone down" the chrome a bit.
Hello friend, I loved how your Honda finished, could you tell me where you bought all the accessories, I would like to do the same to my Honda, thank you
Dude love the bobber, but I must say the first look is more my style. Where did buy the front and rear fender guards? Is there a place online you would recommend as I’m from the UK? Many thanks 👍
awesome video man, love the look. im too chicken to give it a go myself, but you did an amazing job. only complaint: holy cow that is a small thin seat that looks incredibly uncomfortable?!
Sweet video thank you .. I have similar bike I just want a smaller seat keeping the two fenders and the entire rest of my bike ( no more two up) .. will that BB seat work
Nice Video. I've converted my Shadow Saber and it looks great. The only issue I had was the drag bar handle bar would turn down even when I tightened the brackets evenly. I had to insert some star washers into the mounting brackets to hold the bars since the bars are smooth. How about your experience with this topic?
Awesome job and super helpful video. I have a 2004 as well (even have the same mustang seat) and have been planning on getting the same blue collar bobber kit. I’m just torn because it’s actually so comfortable for long rides as is. How have you been finding it after riding it for a while now?
It's not a mustang seat, but I was actually very surprised with how comfortable the seat actually was. I don't have any complaints about the seat at all.
Idk. The original looked mint and could carry your lady (or man), great for long hauls. The bobber though is great if you don't do those Long runs, no passenger and definately lighter. Looks great both ways.
Wife is terrified and won't get one with me anyway haha, and I only go on short runs. Wouldn't be comfortable for long hauls, mostly due to the lack of windshield. The seat however is very comfortable surprisingly.
Great video but I wouldn't buy anything from BCB because their prices are definitely not blue collar. Its much cheaper to fabricate your own parts. Beautiful bike though.
No it made very little difference to steering at all. The biggest difference I found with the whole build is that it made the back end a lot lighter and it was noticeable when driving
One thing is you pay 3-4k for the motorcycle stock, you put 3-4k and more in it to achieve this, with that kind of money you could just buy a freakin better bobber stock, not a 750 1991 Honda shadow, I'm not judging I'm just saying, I'm in this situation right now and I could get a triumph bobber way more healthy with this money know what I mean, imagine if that 1991 shadow just die on you and you have to put 4-5k to repair it after. It's unviable in a way if you don't have alot of money and just want a unique bike.
dude watching a father & son do a custum build was so satisfying, You definitely earned "Father of the Decade award" in my book
Wow... thanks a lot for the kinds words.
Teach em to love bikes when they're young so they don't have money for drugs when they're grown. Great bike and video man.
I know right. Thanks!
Sir ur son really cute....the way u encourage him really awesome...God bless u both....from MALAYSIA
Thank you kindly from Canada!
Nice job! Finally a way to build it without crazy fabrication involved. Thanks for sharing and ride on with your son 😊
Thanks for watching. They are great kits, thinking about putting one on my brother in laws Yamaha now.
Just a quick one, when installing grips, just spray 2 times water inside the grip and it will slidee on like a dream, after that just leave overnight,, or use heatgun to dry. done mine, holds well.
Thanks for the tip

I hope so! Thanks
Nice job, definitely get the tank painted, IMO it will complete the build
I agree
Awesome video man. Also I like to say hi back to your kiddo for saying hi to all of us 👋
Thank you! I will let him know!
Excellent video definately sealed the deal for me on whether or not I felt capable of goin thru with the full build made it look easy good work!
Glad I could help
I enjoyed it bc I've been watching motorcycle builds for my scooter. My only complaint would be eye protection is a must.
Thanks! I figured you would like the video! Yeah I live my life on the edge lol.

BCB sent me a hat too, they are so nice!
Truly
Not sure what was unfortunate about the beer 😂 gotta have a brew when working on vehicles
That is true!
Great job, you took it to a whole new level, badass!
Thank you very much. I am happy with it! The snow is finally gone here and I am taking her back out this weekend.
First thing I thought when I saw the build in the daylight was "that's nice, but, damn, he needs to get rid of those footboards", and then, you said it.
They since been removed haha! Next will be a new radiator guard, but the snow is coming soon and any week now i will need to store the bike.
Cool thanks mate. Dig these conversion kits
Thanks!
Very nice work!!!!!! looking to follow your steps and build mines like that
That is awesome! Go for it.
I used to ride a VTX1800. First bike was a Shadow 750. Miss riding.
Nice. I didn't get to do as much as I would have liked this year.
Love it. I learn some from you here for sure which I will do similar project :-). Thanks for an awesome vid.
Nice! That is cool to hear.
Awesome bike!! Looks way better
Thanks
Very cool man! I'm not really a fan of bobbers but maybe that's because I haven't seen one in person
Thanks
Cool man!!!!!...nothing like father and some playing with their toys😉
100% thanks!
Thanks for the video man I've been looking at some parts from these kits. Looks great. How has it held up over the years?
Excellent, not issue at all so far
...so far so good, but always use washers on screws to fix connections correct...
Thanks for the tip!

I'll let him know! Thanks.
Turned out awesome!

Nice seat. Love the handle bars. Love it. Cheerz Denise W.A
Thanks!

Blue collar bobbers !
Awsome build!
Could you share seat link? I'm looking for better solution for my vt500 1984.
Check out Blue Collar Bobbers
Dude love the bobber, but I must say the first look is more my style. Where did buy the front and rear fender guards? Is there a place online you would recommend as I’m from the UK? Many thanks 👍
It was from blue collar bobbers
Nice job!
Thanks
Great video !!
Thanks!

only complaint: holy cow that is a small thin seat that looks incredibly uncomfortable?!
Thanks. I thought that as well, but it is surprisingly comfortable.
Looks sharp.. Any difference in handling after removing fork brance under original fender?
Easier to ride, feels much lighter in the back end actually.
Amazing
Thanks
I love Bobbers. The donor was all dolled up? Why the chop? ..then at 5:15
I totally understand.
I just went back and watched that clip and it took me right back 2 years, they are growing up so fast... 😭
Sweet video thank you .. I have similar bike I just want a smaller seat keeping the two fenders and the entire rest of my bike ( no more two up) .. will that BB seat work
Right on! You would need the seat bracket as well

I had to insert some star washers into the mounting brackets to hold the bars since the bars are smooth. How about your experience with this topic?
So far the drag handles have not moved at all, everything installed has stayed tight.
Awesome job and super helpful video. I have a 2004 as well (even have the same mustang seat) and have been planning on getting the same blue collar bobber kit. I’m just torn because it’s actually so comfortable for long rides as is. How have you been finding it after riding it for a while now?

Amigo me podrías ayudar diciéndome dónde compraste todas las partes me interesa los Fender y el asiento te lo agradecería mucho saludos desde México
Thanks
Cool!
Thanks
Just bought a 2004 shadow that's the same colors as yours and was thinking about bobbing it....BTW are you in NL? I am and recognize the accent.
We are living in Deer Lake now. Just stored the bike for the winter yesterday!
Ya, mine is in storage till may, sigh.....at least it's something to look forward to. I'm in the city have visited deer lake a few times.@@FacilityD20
where you get your exhaut is awsome🤘
The wrap came from Blue Collar Bobbers , the exhaust is stock

NO safety glasses! Bad. Your eyes are your most valuable assets.
True...
Its been a year you have done this video n just seen it bjt i have to ask what did u do with the part's u took off
All the parts are gone now.
You're a tall enough guy, you should put forward controls on it. Otherwise very nicely done.
Thanks, I need some new ideas for this summer when the snow goes.
How much was that kit ? Looks good
about 2K I believe
Nice 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video but I wouldn't buy anything from BCB because their prices are definitely not blue collar. Its much cheaper to fabricate your own parts. Beautiful bike though.
Fair enough!
How much was that kit for your Honda shadow because I have one and want to get the kit myself
All together, about 2k Canadian
Could anyone please explain - why would U need the springs under the seat? Isn't the suspension of the bike enough? Do U have springs under your sofa?
The little springs absorb a lot of the bumbs and general road vibration... the seat is actually a lot more comfortable then I was expecting.
How about the weight difference before and after? Performance how it rides with mods now brother
A lot lighter, you can really notice it on the back end. Easier to handle now to... but they are easy handling bikes anyway.
CANADA!
Yes! thanks for watching
Nice. Soo much better
I agree!
Hay boy....!!
thanks lol
Hey I know I’m late to this but thinking about getting same handle bar and kit. Is the new bar difficult to steer and is it a taxing riding position?
No it made very little difference to steering at all. The biggest difference I found with the whole build is that it made the back end a lot lighter and it was noticeable when driving
Super
Thanks
hi can you tell me where you find the rear fender please....thank
Blue Collar Bobbers
I’d get a smaller exhaust fs .
Thinking of more upgrades for next season, might put that on the list
You from the New England area?
No. Newfoundland Canada
Cool. NS here. Just down the way!
How much did the parts cost
Wht the price of oil tank of copper tank
Honestly don't know. I am looking at some wheel and tire packages now
Nice, what year is it? 1100?
Thanks 2004!
hey, u sell me the guards?
Sorry its long gone

The kit was about $2k Canadian, the bike was a gift from my dad he hasn't used this since he got a goldwing about 10 years ago, lol
@@FacilityD20 well in your case it's totally worth I guess.
Sell me the extra parts
All gone!
You speak English well. I guess he's American
Canadian
How much did it cost for the parts?
About 2k CND
