    I've been driving my Indian Scout Bobber since January and I don't regret a second. I've already changed it a bit optically: new seat, Wunderkind custom parts from Germany, new exhaust system and a few cosmetics. I love this bike and am almost sure I will keep it after buying my second machine. Yes, sometimes it hurts when your spine comes out of your neck when you hit a pothole. But I love her.

    • @Zitronenbaum-v5s
      @Zitronenbaum-v5s 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey @@Allie_Rose! I definitely recommend that you do a little test drive. As for the experience, I can only tell you how it was for me. Here in Germany we have to pass a theoretical and a practical test for motorcycling - even if we already have a driver's license. This guarantees a safe start even for beginners. The bike itself is a little uncomfortable, but it is beautiful and unique on the market along with the Triumph Bonneville Bobber. The performance of the Sixty is definitely enough to have fun with it. You can also customize them with many after market parts. As for the price, you have to know that it is definitely not cheap. For a beginner, I think a Scout Bobber is a good choice, but of course you have to be aware that this is a fairly heavy bike with compromises in equipment. As a really good alternative, I can definitely recommend the Honda Rebel 1100 or the Vulcan S. Much cheaper, good equipment - just a little less soul. Drive safe!

    Eleven years and 84,000 miles ago, I went with a used 2009 Nightster. Reliable as an AK-47, and just as refined. I rode it today, still crushing miles. One of the first things you change is the suspension front and rear. For reference, the first thing I changed on my 2018 DRZ was the suspension, front and rear.

      I’m currently in the same situation just about. I ride a gsxr750, z650 and a zx14r. Obviously these bobbers aren’t as fast as the 2 super bikes, but I imagine it has to be more comfortable right? I saw it has 76hp, and for the weight, how does that do for you? My z650 has a whopping 35hp, but it’s also much lighter, so I’m curious how that plays in. Trying to decide between a new 750 or the triumph bobber, but the bobber looks much more classy imo.

      @@gregregor9689 With the understanding that I live in Thailand where bikes are the most dangerous toy you can have, I am pretty happy with the pull off the line all the way to third gear. Even in 6th it can roll on speed to pass or avoid obstacles. But now since I am not trying to break the sound barrier anymore, I love turning heads as I cruise by in a very stylish bike. Today I got a bit lost and found my way home after 100km, and the whole time I was smiling and very comfortable. Tomorrow I have an all day trip with the T100 and T120 Triumph group here in Pattaya and I am certain it will be comfortable and fun.

    Had a Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black for about 3 months before selling it. Thing was plenty fast and badass looking (definitely needed straight pipes and a windscreen), but I found myself constantly riding the FZ-07 instead due to better handling. Fast, comfortable & light compared to other bikes that can outrun any stock Harley & has a bit of aero for doing the ton up. Given what I want to practice, it’s pretty practical. A potential idea for the channel: Maybe you can make videos about older bikes for people starting out. You can test old motorcycles and make content about them to show beginners with a low budget a place to start. Ofcourse most beginners are unexperienced with wrenching on motorcycles but you guys can help with that. Maybe Spite can make a video series in wich he explains all the basic things to keep an older bike running.
    Hell, you can even make content about how to be prepared for buying second hand old bikes. And there must be a lot more potential content to be made involving older bikes.
    information about Older bikes are not easy to find on youtube so you can be an exclusive channel that combines beginners and older affordable motorcycles!
    I would love it! Especially now that newer motorcycles sound and feel like dying scooters with these emissions.

      Most of yammie noobs viewers seem to be people who want to get into motorcycling and i think they want to do it cheap. Give them a way to get their dreams cheap and i think they will watch all the content that helps them reach those dreams! Good for the channel, good for beginners, good recycling for nature,

      They said the majority of their viewers seem to be beginners looking to buy a motorcycle. And i just wanted to share a potential idea for the channel. Please dont be rude because their are enough people that have no bad intentions. Thank you.

    The whole practice of shaving weight, upgrading performance parts, eliminate anything unnecessary is alive and well in true street fighter builds. Not factory shit or fat rresr tire stretched bikes but true fighters. It's been going on in Europe for decades, had a big breakout here in the states in early 2000 with shows magazines and buildoff comps.
    Built a couple fighters and regular bobbers, worse thing is with or without a fender you will have gravel butt !! Lol
