"I'm not a mechanic" [But I play one on TH-cam] 😂 Looks awesome!!! I'll live vicariously through you with this build because I need my saddle bags...for now.
I said that because "I don't know what I'm doing" didn't sound right lol! I already know I am going to dislike using a backpack all the time. Also thanks! I really like the minimalist look this fender provides.
Nice video! Really nice transformation to the bike too. I’m really hoping to find a bobber fender for my shadow that doesn’t need the mounting brackets. I feel like it would look next level without them. Likely going to have to get something custom made and welded on I’m thinking.
Thanks! I think I follow what you are thinking. The fender would almost appear to be floating. A lot of folks run without one but I'd rather keep rain and other road debris off my back. TJBRUTALCUSTOMS or BobberCycle might have something like that.
Are you talking about the hole drilled in the license plate bracket? I held the fender strut bracket that came in the kit in place on the bike, then placed the license plate bracket over it. Then I took both of them off together and marked the hole.
I'm not sure if it is all in my head but it feels more nimble, but other times I can't tell a difference. But yeah man, I'd let you rip it around the block.
@@LuckyAcesRidinghow was the ride with the mustang seat, is it worth changing seats for the look of the springer seat, your bike do look good 👍 great job thanks for shearing
@@walterhale3326 The mustang seat was extremely comfortable. With the stock one and the current springer seat I can do about 2 hours then I am done. The mustang is thicker, wider, and the leather is softer than the factory seat. Well worth the price. If you plan on riding a lot, especially for a few hours at a time, you do not want a springer seat.
My friend please please can you do a video of how you add these gauges/ meters on your bike i have vt750 aero as well but it 2005 and i need your expenses 🙏🙏🙏🙏
your videos are a work of art
I personally don't think they are anything too special but thank you
Those white walls are beautiful! Fender compliments it well
Thank you!

Yeah I don't know about that one lol! @@FYERFIGHTER

I know this video is a little old, but where did you get the measurements to drill the holes for the rear fender strut bracket ? Thanks

I'm a little jealous, I hope if we ever bump into each other you'll let me take it for a ride. So I can see what I missed out on with my shadow.

Looks great I’m about to cut up my 06 Aero
I would make sure you REALLY want to. I'm not going to say I had immediate regret but if I was going to do it again, I wouldn't.
In order to mount defender, do you need to cut the frame?
Not for the fender install no, cutting the frame is not required.
Can you still use a mustang padded solo seat this way, or the hard seat with the springs underneath
You can still use the mustang seat yes. I did change to a springer seat though mainly for the looks.
