it would be scary to see a whole bunch of german war machines on route towards you and the song in the background
the song is Panzerlied
"if the germans hits again this line is finished" Well considering its 1944 and the amount of tanks they lost i doubt that division is capable of hitting again whilst the brits can just fill in the holes with reserves.
tootyfruity70 To be fair, by the end of the war, the Brits were hesitant to use up more manpower as the population of the UK was small and couldnt afford massive amount of losses. For this reason the British actually had manpower issues towards the end whereas the Americans and the Soviets were fine as they had much larger populations
Yeah but i think in this case they would risk losing some manpower by replacing the gaps in the line with reserve untis rather than risking a german breakthrough to the beach head which could be catastrophic both in terms of manpower and resources but either way what ever german armoured units attacked would probs be decimated by allied air power.
tootyfruity70 I definately agree with that but the Germans too would risk losing many men and tanks and thats exactly what happened. The Germans were almost certainly doomed after the allied invasion of France. It worked well for the Americans and Brits though because they both didnt need to lose as many men because they were covered by the other. If Britain was alone like it was in the first few years, they would have taken more casualties instead of it being split between the Americans and the Brits

If the germans did manage to take the line quickly after this battle they could salvage and repair their disabled tanks, but overall I think they would have replaced whoever ordered the armoured charge without scouting or artillery support

Id like to see battles including some of the smaller countries that fought, like Australia or the small European countries
seeing the tanks roll in with the German intro music really just gets you amped up. great job Diplex
just playing and watching your videos makes me really appreciate the sound and visual effects of this game. some examples are the wizzing of the bullets, whistling shells that bounce off tanks, and also the bullet tracers!

A keen concept for Japan invading the US would be to have landing forces involved at Pearl harbor - which was what Yammamoto wanted. His original plan called not simply for a sneak attack but also occupation of Hawaii.
When that firefly shot on the move at the end that takes a lot of skill as the gun had a basic stabiliser but you had to go really slow so good shot to that firefly

FYI... The 21st Panzer division at Normandy had German tanks but also a large contingent of French Tanks captured in 1940. Souma S35 tanks were used in abundance by the 21st Division on June 6th and 7th (especially in RECON units... flame thrower S35's too) and the first month of the battle, You should use them as well. Also the North Africa Landing Scenario should be using Vichy French forces. They really put up a fight at Casablanca against the Americans. Even had air force and naval forces that did considerable damage to the invasion forces, but if you want to use the Germans that is cool, but sprinkle in some Italian troops and tanks and artillery too. And why can't the defenders get reinforcements? Also the Germans used Char B French heavy tanks in Normandy too and all types of French captured tanks on all fronts (Africa, Normandy, Italian and Russia/Balkans... Especially from 1941 to 1943).

If you make the Japanese invasion of America be sure to implement the United States Coast Guard! They were on high alert all throughout the war and it would be cool to see them used in Men of War

Germany invaded and annexed Austria prior to the second world war in 1938 during Operation Otto.

If you do the Japanese invasion of the US, you should give them the (British-style) doughboy helmets.
You should also do Operation Unthinkable. It's 1946 and the Soviet Union has declared war on the British and Americans in Europe shortly after World War II.
