I still don't understand why renault is not working on the interior quality and features, even after 8 years.. It sure has the potential to leave all the competition in the segment behind..
Will surely miss the awd drive train... They should bring back the awd drive train in some adventure variant or something... Because back then it was the most affordable awd car back then
Duster ~ is not for urban toyboys getting turned on by gizmos. Its for people who understand a car is not a mobile Cyber-pub. For those who are brainwashed by fancy features and 'show' and that most useless feature in India - Sunroof !! go tear up your pockets, empty your banks and buy the Korean / Chinese junk of Hector's, Venue's, Seltos, Brezza's and their sisters.
First things first, the 1.3 HR13's power figures are wrong, a typo obviously. About the Duster, I have always loved it. The Turbo petrol makes it even more desireable. Would have bought one if i were looking to shop in that segment. The least Renault could do is throw away the dash for something better. It wouldnt have cost them a bomb to do that. That itself makes the cabin feel drab and the cjoice of seat cover fabric makes it even more worse. Renault should have retained the AWD variant, that would have been able to put all that power down without much loss. Also IIRC AWD had shorter gear, would have improved acceleration times too. Cost would have increased but it could still easily have undercut the competition even with AWD.

Power is 156 ps not 106. Turbo car is Excellent machine. Way better than creta, seltos, xuv 300 etc.. I think you have test driven non turbo petrol engine which is a useless machine.

Wow. What has this world come to. Crossovers are being measured against a 0-100 time than their so called offroading capabilities and driving comfort and the ability to carry luggage. Suv crossovers are not sedans and this might be a good Crossover but even the start of video is fundamentally wrong.

It takes you a proper while to move your vision from the road to the infotainment screen and back. I think I need to make a stop to do anything I want to do on the screen. 3. The front row seats are from the 90s. Actually! 4. I found the clutch to be way too light. I thought it may be because of me being used to a Ford diesel clutch. So I asked the showroom to give me their best driver for a 0 - 100 sprint. Every time he changed gear, there still was a jerk. Your latest crush may not like it. 5. Then finally the showroom said ARAI mileage figures are 15 kmpl. That in reality means about 11 kmpl. I get 18 kmpl from my diesel Ford. I am just not used to this! 6. It did have a good ride. But let's not talk about the handling! Verdict - Buy it only if you are nostalgic about the 90s!

Well no one will go off roading evryday. U need features to drive ur day to day car. Many features r missing in this car. Basic features like rear ac vents r missing. Poor audio output, Stone age infotainment system, outdated rear looks, instrument cluster is also outdated but still it cn be ignored. Most funny one driver height adjuster. If u r selling a car which wil cost 14lacs on road u got to provide some gd features.

Turbo model is overpriced compared to naturally aspirated engine. I was expecting 1 lakh cheaper price for turbo.
