- I walk from my house in Bunwell in the middle of the Norfolk Countryside to the centre of Bangkok Thailand, I do hitch hike, Catch a train, A tube train, A plane A bus and finally a sky train to get to me Happy Ending.

Oh man, you can’t beat that feeling of arriving at Bangkok airport and going outside for the first time and experiencing the heat, humidity and that Bangkok smell!
Could've taken the Airport Rail Link from the basement of the Suvarnabhumi Airport which will bring you right up to the BTS Phaya Thai for 45 Baht! Anyway, welcome back!
Sean, instead of getting the bus into Bangkok, why didn't you get the Airport Rail Link (Underneath the airport) to Phaya Thai for only 40 Baht? It only takes 20 mins.Then the BTS to Nana.

Yep Airport link to Phaya Thai and then change to bts. Piece off piss,cheap and easy. Will be there doing that on 21st Aug.

Just one thing mate and for anyone else whose interested if you had gone down to the basement in Suvarnabhumi airport you could have got straight onto the BTS to Phaya Thai and then change for Nana..so no need for bus although no doubt you see more from the bus window..

You must be a newbie to Bangkok
From BKK airport you can get a subway train to downtown with one transfer to get to NANA very cheap easy and fast
And you shouldn’t change money at the baggage pickup it is much cheaper going to the basement where you get the subway and go to super rich much better rates

Welcome back, hope to see your vlog around Asia again, maybe to new destination like Japan, Korea, China. Affordability, quality of life and convenience that what you can get in Bangkok, many cheap condos have gym and swimming pool, near MRT/Sky Train, no need to have your own car. You pension goes 3-4 times more than major cities in Europe or the US.

Bangkok Airport Rail Link takes you to Phaya Thai in 30 minutes and costs 45 baht, then 35 baht to Nana. Less than half the price of a Bus/BTS.

Good to be back, little tip for the MRT trains you can connect a wise debit card to Line pay and scan qr code (green line pay button) on ticket machines, saves using cash
