Sure the price of ingredients etc has gone up however many businesses not just in England but around the world use that as an excuse to raise prices more and more.
If you going to charge 5 quid for a sausage roll at least make it a whole one.

Omg the prices on the food are totally ridiculous. I was at a food festival in London last year and they were cheaper. Now that's saying something! Good vlog!
Just a heads up for the "Bankers prices". We used to do a few shows (small family run food stall btw) , and the money the organisers ask for a pitch actually requires you to over inflate prices, so rather than highlight the traders big prices, you should have collared one of those bowler hatted show organisers who rent the pitches and have no risk as they don't have to employ/buy stock/cover pitch price & sell on shit days when it pisses it down after you've paid megga bucks to be there.

If the organisers are demanding so much for a pitch that you need to charge £5 for a SLICE of a sausage roll then all traders should boycott the event.

The main reason for the high prices is the cost of a stand . Most of the food shown I have bought in Norfolk for half the price and less . The sausage rolls and pies are fantastic .

Hello from CA. Same here everything mahal/expensive! Vendors pay big bucks. SF has market but takes hours to get to & hustle from street people! No comparison for smiles, people in the west stressed to the gills! Food looks amazing, love Turkish food, selection of food, variety, "cuci mata" eating with eyes(Indonesian).

Not really my scene apart from the trucks & tractors..reminded me of a steeplejack called Fred Dibnah who was also big into steam rollers and tractors.. I would have spent most of my day looking at them and other pieces of machinery..
I might be wrong but many of the stallholders seemed a bit on the miserable side..was that because😮 they weren't selling much because of the prices..
Anyway looks like you enjoyed the Waltzer with Mrs Woody..😂😂

Great vlog again , just had a look at the costs for exhibitors,
"Based on a trade stand size / cost calculation for 12 x 6m stand in Band 4 on a corner
12 x 6 = 72 square meters
72 x £11.60 = £835.20
£835.20 x 10% (£83.52)
Total stand cost £918.72 plus VAT (at 20%) - £1102.46"
Then I guess they have transport, staff etc. etc.
I think it might explain the cost of the sausage rolls!
Seems to be a lot of food and other stuff, compared to the past when it was mostly animals and farming.
Costs for farming displays seem to be much cheaper so I'm betting the organisers prefer to have non-farming displays.
