Ah, I just found your videos and I'd like to thank you! I'm half Vietnamese, but my mom never taught me. I want to learn, and I feel these will help me greatly!
Just to let you know there's South and North Vietnamese. It might have different tones and ask your mom where she was born and if she was born in the South she'll teach you south viet or North she'll teach you North Viet. No problem full viet here:)
First I found your youtube channel today. cuz These day Im studying Vietnamese ,Im Korean I realized that your video is very easy. and helpful for me thanks a lot
i m native vietnamese speaker but sometimes i search videos of how to learn vietnamese or vietnamese conversation basic because i find interesting to known what other people
Morevietnamese.com brought me here, and I'm planning on going through each of your videos. Just moved to HCMC and I'm still sans job, so I have time :) This first video is fantastic!
I had an internship in Vietnam last year. I'm looking into trying to go back and teach english, but this time I want to try to learn more vietnamese. Thanks for your videos!
as soon as i heard "bình thường" i immediately thought of the korean word for a very similar meaning, pronounced [bo.tʰoŋ].. it is fascinating that they are so similar. perhaps both are adapted from chinese? the etymology would be interesting to study. anyways, i thoroughly enjoy your videos and look forward to finding more connections between the languages im learning! :D
+Learn Vietnamese With Annie it's true! I didn't think of it when I started learning Vietnamese, but I should have since I study linguistics! anyway, thanks for sharing your talents with us, Annie! your channel is a real gem that I'm glad to have found :)
thank you so much !! I need to find a note book and start learning. hopefully I'll impress my doctor and patients when I speak thier language. thank you again!!😘
Annie, you should place your videos in a playlist so that people can navigate your videos right after they finish viewing! I plan to watch every one of them as I stay in Vietnam I know I'll be able to use them. I love to tell girls they're pretty and they love to tell me the same thing so I can use your responses and compliments to make myself seem like I know what I'm talking about!
You are such an amazing teacher! I love your lessons and your example situations for expressions are really funny and help me to understand the context better :-) Thank you for making videos!
Learnt this this morning, and first class on of my 7 years olds said 'Teacher you are so funny', to which I replied 'Cũng thường thôi', and the class screamed with shock and laughter.
trời ơi! This is great, I have a day in Hanoi next week en route to Melbourne and I really need to get around the pronunciation - your lessons will really help - thank you
I love the way you taught this! It's really helpful for me. I'm trying to learn vietnamese and want to know the common phrases to use in conversation! Thank you
Hi Annie, Troi Oi... anh eu em videos !!! keep it up !! i had a viet gf previously, and learnt several words that you have taught!! will keep watching haha

I know the basic "I love you" stuff already, but the second video did give me a few ideas to surprise her, it worked. Thank you ^^ Looking forward to another video =)
Hello Annie, congratulations to your great lesson "numero uno"! They are VERY helpful, even as a german i have a big chance to learn tieng viet now! The only thing which would be very useful is: to repeat the learned phrases resp. words at the end of the viedeo as a short summary! Then your lesson video would be perfect! :-) Many greetings from Germany... Anh chao em!
you are so cute :D specially the part where you told us, that even your mom uses "Bo Tay". haha Thank you very much for the video! It helped me a lot to learn some cool basics!
I suggest you should label in your description with "South Pronunciation" or "North".. so that well... you know. I am experience with the Southern language... since birth of course, but I still have a lot to learn,, my parents rarely teach me the full language.. :"( You are the best at making these kinds of videos by far.... They always make me laugh so hard so far. plz make more.... if you have time. Please pweety pwease!

Hello Annie:) I just wanted to say thank you for putting soo much effort into all your videos and helping us learning Vietnamese! I really enjoy your lessons^^ Though pronounciation is really challenging and I wonder if anyone is ever going to understand what I'm trying to say ((笑)
My colleagues and I always tease each other when we make mistakes by saying Bo Tay so when it appeared in your video, I couldn't stop laughing. Thank you Annie
I'm from the South too. Except from Pronunciation series which I think a standard accent would be better, I will teach Ho Chi Minh city dialect. I will continue this work, please support and help me share :)

Hi, both Korean and Vietnamese have a lot of Chinese derived words, that's why you can pick up a lot in Vietnamese if you know Chinese or Korean.

For "Troi oi, em đẹp kinh khủng", "Oh god, I'm pretty horrible" is what I came up with on Google translator. It's no wonder my friend gets confused.
