Sad that both of them have suffered such debilitating injuries. At least we got to see Ronnie in his prime. Makes you wonder just how strong the Bloatlord would’ve been if he’d remained injury-free.

The problem is that kariakos has bad form in static training movements. If he would learned to correct his form earlier in life, he would of been stronger. Kariakos's bodyfat and weight must also be considered meaning that athletes who carry more weight and fat will have more overall strength against a depleted 3 to 5 weeks out bodybuilder such as Ronnie. I would of loved to see a full version of Ronnie off season, fully hydrated performing these lifts again and, he would destroy his best lifts especially if he would of powerlifted for a few weeks(powerlifting block) prior to performing these lifts. (I've had to modify my comment in case the phrasing police comes around again to make another smartass comment!)
"Correcting his form he would have been stronger". Do you mean "over time"? Because, of course, the partial range he uses will be storonger than full ROM, almost all of the time.

I'm not against cheating movements, however I feel if you're going to do them, they should be done AFTER strict, full ROM sets in good form to fully fatigue the muscle. Since you are using a heavier weight, and you are heaving/swinging it, the risk of getting an injury increases. To do many cheat sets (or all cheat sets) during your workout is just asking for trouble! Kyriakos isn't even attempting to resist the eccentric at all! I guess he's getting plenty of clicks but I have to wonder how long a career he will have lifting like that! 😊
