🎯 Even Greater Shooters Need to Tune Up Their Shot 🎯
🔧 Sequence = Power
When you have players who miss short, it's usually just a sequence issue because sequence = power.
🔄 Correcting the Sequence
When the hips are moving down, the ball is moving, which means the ball is gonna be late. To correct this, we need the hips to go down and the ball to lift once the feet have reached the ground.
🏋️ No Need for Heavy Lifting
There's no need to go heavy or get on their toes. Instead, use the concept of rockers before launching the ball to the ring.
🏀 Ball First, Then Hips
Ball first before we propel our hips upward. Once you load down your hips, you need to launch the ball first to fire it with more power.
💡 Solving the Problem of Missing Short
When someone is missing short, it often means they are out of sequence. Let their body find the solution to the problem by correcting their shooting sequence.

im a 43 yr old learner and i find this video very helpful.. thank so much!. watching from Melbourne ,Australia..
Awesome! Keep learning.
going to try this out as this describes me currently, thanks for the video
Awesome lmk how it goes.
In your last video with Charlie, you pointed out how she was was consistently jumping forward which was a result of her being off balance when shooting. I see Dylan also jumping forward and to the left. I'm curious if this is something you would also try to fix for him, or if not, why not? Thanks Coach!
It is - I would just focus on one thing at a time.
Slight jump forward is fine as long as it’s consistent and keeps them on balance.
Great eye.
nice video earned a like and subscriber I consistently hit the part of the rim where the rim connects to the back board like the little rectangle part do you have any recommendations for me or a video of yours for me to watch. thanks
