58:11 The Three Amigos saved the village of Santa Poco because the villagers knew how to sew. Great tip of the week! I have saved a lot of money by repairing gloves and pads.

Right?!?! Gear is too expensive these days. And with the stuff we ride, sewing is paramount, lol. Thanks for commenting Jeff! Sage

Coming from a dirt jump background, the airtime becomes the thing you seek with mountain bikes. It’s a completely different body position, angle, etc. and I will absolutely agree repetition helps learn this new skill! Getting a hardtail or DJ and taking on trail systems kitting for jumps is the best way to “jump” into this new discipline!

They don't call them braking bumps on the road...it's called "washboard". Same effect, definitely not caused by braking, as it can go on for miles, up, down, and level, but as you say, braking can aggravate the situation in places. Eastern Washington rider here, desert riding, rock and hardpack, not like the west side forest and loam that most people are familiar with. Lots of slow rock tech, my favorite.

@@RideLaughPodcast you wouldn't regret riding here, that's for sure. Although most of the stuff that I ride will not be found on Trailforks. Lots of BLM land all around me, but not many established trails, just lots of interesting, ridable terrain. I would recommend the Winthrop area, or perhaps Leavenworth, with the Xanadu trail, or it's neighbor, Tres Hombres. Amazing technical ridge rides. I personally have not been on one of these, but the footage looks amazing, next on my list.

Man I love Creek so much, now that I've moved a bit further south in MD, Creek is even further away but I absolutely need to make it out with you guys some time. Dan! I did the same exact thing on Upper Dominion's biggest jump LOL, pre-ride lap turned into full send and before you know it I'm unsuccessfully attempting a backflip 😂, glad you were mostly okay on your hit, sounds like a rough one for sure.
