  • The readings I look at, don't look good for Rover 45's!

I think Rob at Beards and Bangers and Project Nigel have a monopoly on Rover 45s!

I think judging on the numbers this might be almost true!

I do find it interesting when you spend all the time to see how many vehicles are left on the road still im shocked that they was that many rovers on the road as many getting scrapped as to the normal k-series engine problems with the 45 but the v6 people would have different makes of cars instead of rover must take you a real long time to find everything out but they are not for me I've had two rovers only because they was cheap you want to look after yours then as only 16 left 👍

It didn't take too long as I know what information is relevant to my findings :)

I had a 45 years ago the body wasn't great the electric windows would always come off the rails the battery was so small & weak it wouldn't start in winter but it did have that Honda engine

The 45 didn't have the Honda engine, you must be referring to the HHR 416, I'm assuming it was an auto as that was the only one you could get a Honda engine on! The batteries are limited to 063 which I think its weird considering the electrics, window regulators are very poor quality!

@@usuallyfixingtinkering I apologise for my mistake but they were not best made cars were the

@@patrickmcteigue I disagree on the build quality because on the whole vs let's say against its rivals the rust was very minimal. I find the 400 HHRs and 45s are very well made. However it sounds like you might have had a lemon, all makes and models have bad examples. It's the majority that create the lastling impression
