    Great boat setup and scenery. Are you still running the etec? If so, how has it held up ?

    Still running good? Any problems so far?

      The outboard is still running great. I made a mistake and ran aground, but this was my fault. I was full throttle and hit a rock shelf so I had to replace the lower unit. No real mechanical issues with the etec that was fault of its own just my own mistake.

      @@northamericanproductions thats good, I'm considering buying a 2017 model today but keep reading horror stories about ecm going bad and injectors going bad and you have to have computer soft ware to program them to the motor. But then again alot of people say they lovem.

      Cody Stanfield It’s definitely an engine you have to take to the dealer to be serviced because they are the only ones who have the software. You won’t be able to fix the motor yourself. Hope this helps.

    What’s the top speed?

    • @northamericanproductions
      @northamericanproductions  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say between 20-30mpg but haven’t clocked it yet. I recently bought a hummingbird fish finder with gps and will install it soon. I’ll get back to you when I do.

      Most smartphones have free apps for speedometer, those utilize the gps as well

      skojo3e That would be nice if the app still worked off GPS, but out in Alaska I usually didn’t have cellphone service. It can get pretty remote in Alaska, that’s why I always carried survival gear with me. Many times I was out there by myself.

      North American Productions- the smartphone apps do use GPS.

      skojo3e Sorry about the late reply, but I got a gps fishfinder installed on my boat.The boat did 25mph max and cruises solid 23-24mph through chop. This is the speed after the boat build was completed.

    You're on the wrong side of the tiller handle. Smdh

      Theodore Aniskoff No, I was steering starboard side of the tiller, which is the proper steering position. I had both ladies controlling from Port side because the captain "myself" was filming.

      She was. He was not. Looks like a center tiller to me anyway. You can sit on either side
