Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution KIZUNA was released in 2020 and is the finale for the original Digimon series.
This anime analysis explores the story of growing up from childhood to adulthood as we follow Tai and Matt who are both young adults fighting a villain named Eosmon alongside the other digidestined. It looks at the themes of not knowing what to do with their careers, what they want to be and also accepting the fact that their Digimon will have to be gone. We look at the reality of growing up and saying goodbye to our childhood. This is one of the best anime films of recent years given how well they explored these themes. We hope you enjoy it!

    great coverage!
Digimon was not afraid to hit alot of notes kids were dealing with,
They were supposed to just sell kids a product, instead they decided challenge those kids,
And make this show about talking computer beasts into an allegory about being a kid & growing up

I whole heartedly agree with you. They manage to successfully tell an important message in this show that I'm sure was originally created to help sell toys and merch. Not many shows let alone cartoons talk about this struggle young ppl have, but they did a great job. Thanks for watching too!!

I totally agree. Digimon is truly something special and vastly underrated. I love seeing how much the cast from various seasons grow from the first episode to it’s last. Even though the seasons are around 60ish episodes you grow attached to them and their partners which makes saying goodbye all that more bittersweet.
