Thanks for watching today's video if you should upgrade from the HP Reverb G2 to the DPVR E4? What are your thoughts about this subject? Watch my first impressions about the PIMAX CRYSTAL here th-cam.com/video/ESxCnjTZEwo/w-d-xo.html
Anyone ever compare the lenses of the reverb g2 and the E4 side by side? I need to know how close together the E4's lenses are compared to the reverbs when they're adjusted closest to each other because E4's lenses are well fixed in place
Really want to upgrade my Rift S to something else but man, it's a dire space out there for PCVR hardware. Very tempted by the G2 V2 but put off by the tracking as I play a lot of shooters. This is tempting but sounds identical to the Pico 3 link, which I had and returned.
Hello friend, how was pico 3 link compared to rift s? was chromatic abberation visible, how was edge to edge clarity and fov on the pico 3 link? there isn't adequate information about the pico 3 link on the internet. so i would like to hear you perspective if you do not mind. i am currently struggling on which pcvr headset i should upgrade to from the rift s, refurbished valve index for $700 inc taxes and shipping fee, or pico 3 link, reverb g2 v2 or dpvr e4. Thank you in advance.
Hey my friend can I use Reverb g2 on Apple retina laptops with display port to use this pcvr as a second monitor only to watch my own movie from the hard drive of this same apple laptop?
imho the quest 3 is the best choice for PCVR, it looks better then the E4 and can also play games standalone. only downside i can see is the lack of a display port.
In that price range, maybe. Still need to see how it stacks up against Pico 4 quality wise, though. Granted, Quest has a much larger game library on standalone. At higher price ranges, though, I'd say Quest Pro, Pimax Crystal and Varjo Aero are all far better headsets for PCVR.
@@khaledassaf6356 Varjo Aero requires base stations so that's a no for me. as for the crystakl model from pimax, it costs $1500 without the fancy new chip quest 3 uses. guess it's better to wait for a propper new headset.
Hi, I like your video comparing vr headset. I am still having occulus cv1 and I am looking to buy a new set and the G2 seems to be also my target. G2 v2 is just arriving to Europe but price still a bit to high (700€). I am looking forward to get one during black friday in november but i am just scared about HP stock going down as product will be discontinuated in the future. What are your best advice should i wait for better price or go for it now?
I would wait , also consider that many people will second hand sell their sets . So not everyone will want to buy new, above all if the brand is gonna disapear from the vr world, sadly.
I've got a big head and valve index and hp reverb g2 were both too tight on head strap and facial interface. Quest 2 with vr cover interface and bobovr m2 plus fits nicely, but no displayport there. planning to get quest 3 for pancake lenses and smaller quest / less weight / better balanced.
I'm extremely disappointed that not a single Reverb G2 review addresses the severe latency of the G2, which characteristic is so prominent it destroys the sense of presence in the VR space; people really just get used to junk VR and don't realize what's missing. My G2 is still within its 30-day return period and my DPVR E4 arrives tomorrow. The only real way to compare headsets is to experience them yourself because reviewers are only as good as their VR pallette which it turns out can be as degraded as asking an 8 year old to review restaurants; he's gonna tell you the chicken nuggets are "the best!"
Do not buy this VR headset!!!!! Replacing the physical IPD adjustment with software does not work! If the lenses don’t line up with your eyes it’s going to look like garbage, no matter how much “software adjustment” you do. For the price of this headset ($600) you can literally get a quest three with 512 GB of storage ($500) and an aftermarket head strap ($50-$100) and get a much better PCVR AND standalone experience. The pancake lenses on the quest three are far superior than garbage they put on this. Plus in the quest 3 you have a crazy good standalone experience with mixed reality And tons of exclusive games. I don’t think a lot of people realize the DPVR it’s quite literally a quest 2 without any of the standalone features and ZERO IPD adjustment!!

i also thought about getting the reverb G2 with valve index knuckles and steam vr 2.0 base station, if i can find reasonable prices for them.
Vr essential, i would like to hear your opinion as well if you don't mind, my brother.
No issue with tracking anymore for more than a year or two already
@@xressentials So you recommend G2 V2 over pico neo 3 link and valve index?
Thank you for replying and helping me choose a PCVR headset!
Hi, is there a way to connect additional outside sensors and connect them to Reverb G2? the controllers sometimes lose tracking.
Good question!
No Manually IPD adjustment = Major Eye Strain, Still no Pancake Lenses so no.
Fair enough
Glad to see I made the right choice with the G2.
Yep 👍

Quest3 has LCD panels with NO local dimming. It's 2023. Hard pass.

Contact HP see what they have to say

Pico 4 enterprise or quest 3
really need to move so much when filming ?

There’s no latency , u need to adjust ur SteamVR video graphic settings. That’s why no one has mentioned latency issues. Let’s clear that up!
G2 👍
Good choice
