Kudos to you for filming and working. I just tried working on stuff the other day. Nothing was going right. I got extremely frustrated and started swearing up a storm. The last thing I wanted was someone watching me. I think I'm becoming a cranky old man lol. I love being an armchair mechanic!
I gotta get me one of those U-Haul tranny pans! Thanks for the tip:) All my fluids are way overdue for a change.

Thank you!! It’s definitely a challenge without a gimbal or something to hold the phone. If I ever posted the outtakes it would be one solid beep sometimes 😂 Glad to help and thanks for watching!!

Thanks for watching!! It’s slow going with the cold weather lately. I’m hoping to find a cheap solution to heat the garage soon.

Just subscribed mainly because I’m interested in the Eaton swap brackets. Could you do a video speaking a little more in depth about that? Thanks man

I’ll see what I can do. The brackets are available from Jerry, his email is Lji_372@yahoo.com as of today they are $600 shipped to the continental US. Without installing a set it’s hard to go by step by step what all is needed.

Thank you for the video. I haven’t changed a fuel filter before, so it was nice to learn. You mentioned about good performance from your experience of a Motorcraft oil filter in mods cars. How do you determine whether the oil filter performs well?

Years ago there was a long TH-cam video about the difference between Wix, Fram, Motorcraft, and K&N filters. From what I remember they used oil with a solution of metal imbedded then measured the filtering qualities of each company. They also measured pressures and drain back. Fram performed the worst, and Motorcraft and Wix were pretty even in the results. K&N I believe had the best performance but was nearly twice the cost at the time. Thanks for watching!!

Thank you for the reply. I signed up at Amazon to receive a Fram filter every 6 months. Perhaps, I need to reconsider.

@@andreik1775 I would definitely switch to another brand. My personal experience with Fram found more sludge and internal grudge by using Fram and Castrol Oil for about 50,000 miles in my 1995 Mustang GT. After seeing the results first hand then the filter differences, I never went back. I cringed when I saw a Fram on the SSP 5.0.

Anyone know the official name or number of that oil deflector gizmo under the filter?

Oil filter deflector, part number 5W1Z-6N634-AA. Last I heard they were discontinued and hard to find. You might check your you-pull yards on the police and taxi cars.
