Full props man, there are loads of channels playing through this game, but they haven't got a clue about the lore, and they're just chasing the clicks. You took your time to dig into it, and it's fabulous watching someone new to it experience it. Much kudos - and a sub.

13:41 the Power sword is an interesting weapon in lore. Where Chain weapons rely on mechanics to slice through their target, the Power sword works by using a field that surrounds and moulds itself in the shape of the blade you see. This field can effectively cut through just about anything with ease, though naturally the weapon is harder to come across for this very reason, and is most often used and given to those of notable skill and prestige.. Whenever you see a weapon that looks relatively normal (compared to a Chain sword or gain axe) chances are it’s a powered weapon of a similar qualities.

It helps to flesh things out and I think DeeBeeGee will appreciate the more serious approach to the lore with Luetin, Baldermort, Amber King, Oculus Imperia, Wolf Lord Rho, 40k Theories, and The Remembrancer, among others. Baldermort’s video on Fulgrim is one of my favorite lore videos ever and would be an excellent choice for those wanting to better understand how the Dark Gods/Chaos/Ruinous Powers deceive, manipulate, and inevitably corrupt everything, even Primarchs. Quick heads up on space marines, that wasn't mentioned by Bricky:
◾After Horus Heresy, those Adeptus Astartes (aka Space Marines) legions that remained loyal, were split into smaller groups called chapters (like knight chapters), so a civil war of that scale could never happen again.
One chapter per each legion inherited their legion's heraldry, symbol and name, while other successor chapters came up with their own colours and traditions. E.g. Ultramarines chapter inherited the Ultramarines legion's blue colour scheme and omega symbol, but there are dozens of other Ultramarines legion successors in 41st millenium.
Some chapters do not even know which legion they came from, their origins were lost in the millenniae past, or became a secret at some point.
◾Each chapter usually consists of about 1000 brothers on duty, supplied with vehicles, dreadnought walkers, fleets of spaceships, and human personnel. Each chapter usually consists of 10 companies, about 100 men strong, each led by captain and lieutenant. The highest ranking space marine commanding over the entire chapter is (usually) called a chapter master.
So, the chain of command goes like: Chapter Master → Captains → Lieutenants → Sergeants → Regular Marines.
Each chapter operates independently from The Imperium's administration and other chapters.
◾Chapters recruit newcomers from regular humans. They pick young teenagers at the age of about 13, with strong spirit and good survival skills. The trials vary from chapter to chapter, but that ~1% of candidates that pass, in the coming years will also have to survive series of surgeries to implant new organs (extra heart and lung for example) and mix their DNA with one of the primarchs. Through the next decades, with intense training, numerous trials, psychic conditioning they grow into 7-8 feet fully grown Astartes, with strength and toughness of a living tank, enhanced reflexes, regeneration and adamant will. Each chapter usually has at least one planet as the base of their operations, production and recruitment center, but some prefer to migrate on a flagship or a fleet, gathering recruits from populated worlds of The Imperium.
◾Space marines usually live a few hundred years, but none of them die of old age - the life of each Astartes ends in a glorious battle, surrounded by piles of enemy bodies, while he was fulfilling some crucial mission and/or sacrificing his life for his battle brothers.
◾Power Armour is a sealed armoured suit that runs in its own reactor to power its targeting systems and artificial fiber-muscles, so it does not slow but rather empowers the marine's already inhuman strength, speed and awareness. The armour is connected to Astartes' nervous system via ports in their skin, as shown ingame. Regular power armour weighs approximately 600 pounds (300 kilos), about as much as the Astartes wearing it.
◾Sometimes mortally wounded Astartes in adequate condition get the honour to become a dreadnought (essentially a life support system inside a huge walking mech) and spend the rest of their life mostly in hibernation that slows down deterioration of their bodies and minds, so they can be awakened in times of need to help their brethren in combat. All of them are heroes of the past, that are excellent in both fighting and talking boomer stories about the good old days.
◾Bonus fact: The Ultramarines' name is a tripple pun: they are marines, their colour is close to ultramarine blue, and they are based in a system called Ultramar. The Primarch of Ultramarines is Roboute Guilliman.

So the Power Sword has two different modes which you activate by holding the attack button while you're not in an attack chain. The charged state is for dealing with hordes and doing mad crowd control and the uncharged state is for single targets like against the Warriors.

The multi-melta is a one-use heavy weapon, like the heavy bolter. You pick it up and use it ON TOP of your loadout, so if you switch weapon you'll just drop it and get back to your loadout. It works like when you rip miniguns from turrets in halo, use them and then just drop them when they're empty.

The Aeldari actually do have gods. Or, used to. When Slaanesh was born, it devoured most of their pantheon, leaving only two survivors. Cegorach, the Laughing God, and Isha, Goddess of Life. Cegorach currently guards the Black Library, while Isha is held captive by Nurgle.

Seems you may need to get used to that 'white' health bar. When you get damaged (usually by loads of shooting attackers) Your health bar turns from red to white. WHILE IT's STILL WHITE, attack attack attack, as you can recover that lost health just by doing ANY damage of any kind. Before the white bar disappears.
It's like in DOOM, you are rewarded for staying agressive and in the fight. The more you panic, dodge and run away, the quicker you just get nickle-and-dimed to death by every little bit of damage you take. KEEP FIGHTING! :P

The Eldar had a whole pantheon, but Slaanesh ate them all. There are technically four left alive
Kaila Mensha Khaine: God of War: Shattered into pieces by Khorne, Avatars can be summoned to aid in battle
Isha: Goddess of Life: Kidnapped and imprisoned by Nurgle, who's in love with her. He constantly tries to impress her with his new diseases, but she whispers the cures to the Mortal races
Cegorach: God of Comedy and Trickery: Protecting the Black Library from Tzeentch
Slaanesh: The God of the Eldar's own sins
As for Atheists, the Tau don't believe in a God, only the Greater Good.

6:32 - If you knew about how Space Marine 1 ended, you'd understand what was going on here better. Also, if my suspicions about that Chaplain are correct, his animosity towards Titus makes perfect sense.
9:24 - While the Chainsword is the poster boy and workhorse of Space Marine melee weapons, the Power Sword is the status symbol. It's a standard sword made with space-age materials, but it's key feature is the Disruptor Field that encases it when activated. The field tears matter apart on the molecular level, making a Power Sword much better at penetrating armor and tough hide than a chainsword. Power Swords are typically used by squad sergeants and command rank Marines.
10:41 - KAH-ji-tate-or. The 40K word for 'computer.' It comes from the Latin 'cogitare' meaning 'think.'
13:29 - What happened to the 'Parry God'?
54:14 - The Emperor was atheist. Or at least he tried to make Humanity atheist. Of course, that's because he was trying to starve the Chaos Gods, so that doesn't quite count. The T'au have such weak psychic presence that most demons can't even see them, and they treat demons like they're some kind of 'warp alien.' The T'au don't even use Warp travel. Of course, there are indications that the T'au Empire's non-T'au species just might be creating a 'goddess of the Greater Good' with their belief in the principle.
57:55 - 'Blackstone Research.' This can't be good...
    58:00 - 'Graia.' 'Drogan.' Oh, sh#@.
1:16:09 - It has EV-ER-Y-THING to do with Titus. You need to find out about the events of the first game before you get too much deeper into this.
1:16:42 - If you knew Guilliman, you wouldn't be saying that.
From what I've seen on other videos, Zoanthropes (the flying force field brains) are easy to take out with one thing: Krak Grenades. Stick one with a Krak and it'll immediately fall to where you can melee it to death. Just try to locate some Kraks whenever you enter a large battle zone and get them once the Zoeys appear.

As far as your atheists question: In the Pre-Horus Heresy era, the Imperium were hardcore atheists. The "Imperial Creed" that they were spreading was that there were no gods, no magic, only science. Now, this was actually a lie and the Emperor knew it but the Emperor also knew that if everyone stopped believing it would weaken the gods of Chaos tremendously.
The Word Bearers disagreed with this and Lorgar wrote essentially a bible saying "The Emperor is actually a god". Emps didn't like that and put a hard smackdown on the Word Bearers. After that, they turned to Chaos and then Horus decided to be a whiny jerk and then there was a bit of a civil war blah blah blah. Other things happened and 10 thousand years later that bible that Lorgar wrote became the Emperor worshiping religion you see all over 40K.

He tried to lead humanity through belief in science and worldly knowledge, not superstition. Specifying that he is a man not a god. Sure, he used religion as a means to gain power. But once he got it, he banned religion. It's only after getting to be a corpse on a throne, and possibly a book from *BLEEP*ING LORGAR, he became revered as a god.

55:35 as an addendum for when I mentioned Fabius Bile, seeing as the warp is a collection of every feeling, thoughts, emotions, and souls in general it is possible for a god of unbelief to be made manifested. Minor clarification on the machine spirit etc:
The Omnissiah is the Messiah of the Machine Spirit/Machine God, basically the machine Jesus.
And They see the Emperor as the Omnissiah.
The Machine God however, is the actual God they worship and it is what permates every machine in the form of the machine spirit. (Kinda)
Now, not all Inquisitors and Machine Priests agree on this, some Cult Mechanicus see the Machine God and the Ominissiah as the same thing, some don't etc.
The Empperor basically made most of Mars agree that he was the Omnissiah, but not all necessarily agree.
But generally: Omnissiah = God Empperor and Machine God = The actual God they believe in.

I guess you would like to the new Warhammer 40 000 fan-film The Awakening by Gabriel Cristtiane. It is 59 minutes long and is about Spacemarines fighting Necrons.

Please watch the bricky video explaining all the space marine legions. There’s also an amazing short cinematic Horus heresy video which is even better quality than the astartes one you reacted to.

Atheists in Warhammer? The Emperor of Man, his Custodes and trusted advisors, and his loyalist Primarchs. Space Marines can also be Atheist since many of them follow the Emperor's original Atheistic teachings, though some groups of Space Marines do choose to worship the Emperor as dictated by the Ecclesiarchy.
The Emperor spread atheistic teachings in an attempt to prevent the worship of the Chaos Gods from taking root in his new Imperium, and even went so far as to eradicate every preexisting religious faith in Humanity.

The only atheist in 40k is the Emperor Himself

"are there any atheist in the world of Warhammer 40k?" Yes, The emperor, he hated religion and banned it from being practiced during the great crusade (reason being to prevent humans from worshipping the chaos gods, c'tans or minor gods, preventing demonic invasions which begin through chaos worshippers opening portals to reality through rituals, or possessions, or simple temptation with chaos fake promises)
As for the Eldars (or Aeldari), they have their own pantheon, most of their gods are dead though after the birth into reality of slaanesh (it's a little confusing since the chaos gods are said to have always existed, and never existed at once, i call the birth of slaanesh more of Slaanesh being now able to influence reality rather than her... It's actual birth), and the surviving gods are either shattered (Kaine) or imprisoned (Isha) or simply laughing their ass off (Cegorach)

To clarify, Titus himself handled the fallout of that device being used last time. You should enjoy Space Marine 1 off stream for context before you finish this, or put it on the channel before you finish the new one. Then, Titus's dilemma here would have more dramatic depth and context for you. Plus, Space Marine 1 is a classic with very similar gameplay, and will give you taste of 40k orks. (Bricky did not do the orks justice in his overview. He gives the memes, not the facts.)

Yeah, Eldar made gods so they are absoultly not atheist but to them a god is kind of what it actually is in 40k. A mass of psykic energy representing whatever concept it was born from. It's like lightning to them. It's something to be feared and respected but not really worshipped as we would think of it.
Guess atheism is kind of interesting in 40k. If you're talking about atheism as not believing in and worshiping any god then that's current Necrons, Tau, the Emperor and humanity before the Horus Heresy, and the Tyranids I guess. If you're talking about atheism as the disbelief of the existence of a god, then that's only the Tau and only because they don't know any better. Gods absoultly exist in 40k so in that context, if you're an atheist in 40k, your just wrong.
I guess also current space marine chapters and a lot of chaos warbands ironically are atheist despite how they act. They don't see the Emperor as a god, just an ideal to look up to and some Chaos boys really view the Chaos Gods as a resource to be used, not worshipped.

54:15 In theory, the Tau are supposed to be atheistic, but because of the way that the Warp works, their POLITICAL philosophy began INCARNATING AS A GOD as their empire started to expand. Basically: more people 'believing' in something, whatever that thing is=that thing 'becoming' an actual 'god' that can effect the physical world.

Not quite accurate. For whatever reason, Phil Kelly's books which introduced these concepts stated that it came about when humans literally began worshiping the greater good.

The omnissiah is also the emperor. He tricked the mechanicus so that they think he is that. So they are not actually heretics. They just view him has a different type of god with different name. But in the end the emperor and the omnissiah are the same being. @deebeegeek
