Once the battle is over, theyre put back to sleep and in storage while being repaired and maintained. Them being put to sleep is the important part. Because where it then comes to the Chaos Dreadnoughts? yeah they dont do that. They are constantly awake, and their minds are forever tormented and warped by the immaterial, driven entirely insane. Lore of the Sons of Guilliman - It is known that Chapter Master Marneus Calgar lost all four limbs as well as large areas of body tissue and his left eye and that he is now fitted with bionic replacements and is more machine than man. In battle, Calgar is armed with the Gauntlets of Ultramar - a pair of master-crafted power fists incorporating a pair of bolters. The Gauntlets were reclaimed by Primarch Roboute Guilliman from a Chaos Champion after the Gamalia Reclusiam Massacre. He also carries an Iron Halo and wears either the Armour of Antilochus (an ornate suit of Terminator Armour) or a suit of Artificer Armour. After Calgar became a Primaris Space Marine the Armour of Antilochus was modified into a Gravis pattern suit and renamed the Armour of Heraclus. FOR THE EMPEROR! 🙏

What you saw in this part of the game is the reason why the Imperium does not innovate much or research new technologies - Chaos invades the areas of the brain that are open to new ideas and corrupts them.
Epic! Please tell me you filmed the next part right away. It would be a shame to lose your brothers who went that far with you. The dreadnaught asking for Magnus, is that meant to convey he's a space marine from the days of the heresy?
I encourage you to play through the first part of the game before seeing the ending in the second part. The ending gains value. 40K x more. Of course, if you want, brother. P.S. Otherwise, you can really lose a LOT.
That actually was a titan btw. An emperor class to exact, the biggest of the god engines. Imperium ships are generally much MUCH bigger, ranging from 2-8 km length. The phalanx, the ship that serves as the fortress monastery of the imperial fist chapter is the size of a small MOON. In 40k moat ships are big enough that its crew surfs most often are born, live, and die serving the same ship. I should probably mention btw the phalanx is older than the imperium itself, as it was constructed during the dark age of technology, and in case you dont know, in 40k anything from that age is much more powerful and technologically advanced. In 40k older= better. For example the 300ton baneblade super heavy tanks wete first conceive and constructed during the dark age of technology...as SCOUT VEHICLES. THATS the level humanity had reached before being decimated by the men of iron
At the end, the developers confirmed it's not the immaterium, but a in between dimension, between the materium andnthe immaterium, like the webway but it's a different dimension. If it was the warp, the space marines would most likely end up corrupted just looking at it unless they have the protection of the emperor Spoiler: If you know the end, you know why is Titus capable of resisting chaos.
If you enjoy Star Wars as well I’d really, REALLY recommend “On The Nature of the Imperium of Man’- by Admiral Thrawn” by Lord of Wargaming. It’s by far one of the most insightful and well constructed fan pieces made.

Why are there so many gravestones? you are literally on a planet dedicated to burial, theres a data slate that says that there are over 30 trillion registered dead on that one planet, and im pretty sure its only one of three burial planets in the system if im not mistaken. Also, YOU HAVE A PISTOL! xD its not just a "Sidearm" to use when you are out of ammo on your main gun, its highly accurate and can shoot things from waaaay further away than most primaries, not using your pistol in Operations, especially on harder difficulties, is asking for death

Ah, you finally get to meet Chapter Master Marneus Calgar of Ultramarines Chapter who is an impostor of the real Marneus Calgar of House Calgar. . . . The reason why? Is because he is close to the original Marneus Calgar, so he took his name and made his friend's name famous. Edit: I already the BS things of Calgary's origins, I just feel like it to at least the BS that we love and hate 😋
incase people are not aware the real marneus Calgar is not hiding or anything, the Real one died during the selection/training process of the space marines, The imposter here is using his name to honor him. So lore is not discrediting of the Calgar achievements real or not

1:25:21 I completely missed that data slate saying "till the day Vulkan Returns". VULKAN LIVES, STOMP, STOMP. GO SALAMADERRRSS.
I wanted this to continue so bad I’ve been so darn excited to see it as it comes! Watch Death of Hope!
There is a titan in the background at one of the levels.
What you saw in this part of the game is the reason why the Imperium does not innovate much or research new technologies - Chaos invades the areas of the brain that are open to new ideas and corrupts them.
Part 8 in two months, get ready boys.
You’re not prepared
Papa Smurf!
Epic! Please tell me you filmed the next part right away. It would be a shame to lose your brothers who went that far with you.
The dreadnaught asking for Magnus, is that meant to convey he's a space marine from the days of the heresy?
Where is eps 8?
@Deebeegeek At the moment you ask your friends about why there are so many tumbstones, we couldnt hear them giving you the answer
Day 8 of asking Dee to watch Luetin's Space Marine creation/recruitment
Dee must know learn of the daemonculaba. Just a warning, it will scar your life.
7:18 It's funny because it's a callback you don't understand.
Right off the bat, who's brother Gold?
An ancient brother, from a more civilised age. If you go back to ancient videos on this channel you'll find a couple with Gold in them 😅
I encourage you to play through the first part of the game before seeing the ending in the second part.
At this rate you will need to know the story of Space Marine 1
At the end, the developers confirmed it's not the immaterium, but a in between dimension, between the materium andnthe immaterium, like the webway but it's a different dimension.
If it was the warp, the space marines would most likely end up corrupted just looking at it unless they have the protection of the emperor
Spoiler:
If you know the end, you know why is Titus capable of resisting chaos.
47:44 @Deebeegeek check the dialog of the characters 🔥
If you enjoy Star Wars as well I’d really, REALLY recommend “On The Nature of the Imperium of Man’- by Admiral Thrawn” by Lord of Wargaming. It’s by far one of the most insightful and well constructed fan pieces made.
That was absolutely a titan... and not just any titan lol
@@nukem8128 oh? What type is it? I had zero clue.
@@PsychoGoldVideos That I believe is an Imperator-class Titan
@dankcardboard9078 OK so I've done some Googling now and yeah I can 100% see it. I don't think I was looking at what Renegade was looking at as I was looking at an object way off in the distance. Should have clarified, my mistake. Thank you though.
@@PsychoGoldVideos imperator class. You can see it up close in one of the operations missions.
@@dankcardboard9078 correct
Why are there so many gravestones? you are literally on a planet dedicated to burial, theres a data slate that says that there are over 30 trillion registered dead on that one planet, and im pretty sure its only one of three burial planets in the system if im not mistaken.
Also, YOU HAVE A PISTOL! xD its not just a "Sidearm" to use when you are out of ammo on your main gun, its highly accurate and can shoot things from waaaay further away than most primaries, not using your pistol in Operations, especially on harder difficulties, is asking for death
Yeah these people aren't getting therapy. They're a write off. You want some insight into how the Imperium treats guardsmen who have been exposed to warp taint look into _The Months of Shame._
So lore is not discrediting of the Calgar achievements real or not
A significantly awful plot-point IMHO.
Being new to WarHammer I can't tell if legitimate lore or inside joke.
@@Nyah420 nope its relatively recent lore ... and its stupid - 40k with how long its running and how many authors are involved has a lot of this
Its from a comics Marvel did about Calgar in 2020 - 21
@@Nyah420 it's just an unnecessary addition to the lore that doesn't add much in regards to Calgary, it doesn't effect his achievement or his immediate story. The lore essentially reveals that the real Calgar did not survive the test/training, and he took his name to honor his dream of becoming an ultramarine that's it.
40KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
" not its not a titan its a ship " xD talk about clueless
Learn warhammer spaceships please :D
If anyone gets to this point in the story and is still not a fan of the game, I wonder what kind of stimuli your brain needs to function.
Day 3 of asking for ork lore reaction
You little heretic didn't beat the game campaign yet xD?
When you realized you were in a Necron tombworld was classic.
