- In this video, I replace the speakers in the rear doors of my RAV4. I have a 2010 model and this should apply to all 2006-2012 models.
The stock speaker in my model are 5.25 inch and I chose to use 6.5 inch speakers.

I have a 2011 rav 4 sport and I noticed my speakers do not sound good and I want to change them! Any recommendations? I also want to change the radio! Know of any good products :(
Well I changed the size of mine and got the 6.5” ones, it’s not a terrible process but if you don’t feel comfortable doing it yourself I would have Best Buy or something do It for you. I also changed out the radio and put in a Sony Apple Carplay unit. It’s been great. Also installed a backup camera to it

Are the front tweeters a 1in size tweeters. Gonna change out my speakers here soon as I find the ones I would have the least trouble installing. For a 2007 RAV4. And have 1 question to the people that see this comment have any of y'all by any chance installed a amplifier on a Rav4 to see where might have run the power wire from battery threw the firewall to the back just asking to see if someone found a spot to run a power wire threw or did you have to drill a small hole

Hey, is this still working for you? about to try the same with my daughters RAV4 that has 4 blown speakers.. This seems like the easiest way for someone fairly handy.... Only concern is that the plastics on that car seem to be getting brittle with age... fingers crossed I dont break anything!
yep, the speakers still work great. They have still held up even after all this time. :)

Hello. Changed just stock speakers? Car doesn't have amplifier? I am thinking to change speakers in my Toyota Rav4 XA30 but don't know is it worth because car doesn't have amplifier.
may not need an amp. depends on speaker RMS. if speakers are not too powerful then my nt need an amp

Pure Evil yes they are well worth it. Much better than the stock speakers :)
Only 6- 1/2???? For rav4 2008
The ones that come with it are smaller but the hole in the door can fit a 6 1/2
