      True i found maybe 2 videos but just find the speakers 6-3/4 would work just put a harness on it then put together the cables (peeled then tape) for me JBL or Alpine but there's many brands and prices vary where you buy.

    Just did this on my 2016 Rav4, put jbl 620f in all 4 doors, was super easy after the first door.

    Does the head unit have to be replaced for new speakers? I saw the video of that replacement and that’s not really something I want to get in to.

    What kinda speakers are recommended that sound great and are heavy duty? Heavy duty as can withstand adding extra bass.

    • @3000dudeman
      @3000dudeman 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Add a subwoofer if you want bass. No speakers that can play sub bass will also play midrange frequencies clearly. If you want door speakers that play bass then just keep the factory speakers cause it’ll give you the same results.

    Is it the same for the 2017 le as far as switching out the speakers?

      Should be similar depending on the trim setup

    I have a 2015 Rav4 LE and it's been given a speaker replacement.
    Only thing is it rattles the outside door handles.
    What can I do to silence that, especially when I'd like to install a 10" sub

    Looking to change speakers in my '17 xle. I've seen subs for the front door with upgraded dash speakers. Do you know if these sound good and what brand would you recommend? Also, stock deck okay? I don't want major bass. Just better quality all around.

      Use component speakers for the front doors, change the tweeter in the dash and put coaxial speaker in the rear doors. You should use low watts rms speakers with high db sensitivity if you keep the oem head unit because the HU has very low output. Ive put in my rav4 Rockford Fosgate R1675-S for the front and tweeter and Rockford Fosgate R1675X2 for the rear. I see a huge difference with the oem speakers! Im pretty happy with them and they are not expensive. Hope it help :)

    I don't have the gun to drill but there's many ways to remove it, example use a hammer and a flat screwdriver or chinel first cut the front head, then with a screwdriver simply spin it and push it will come out take out the piece, then just plug the cables on the harness and enjoy the music I'll get JBL or Alpine speakers

    Can I reinstall factory speakers back on the car even after rivets have been drilled and removed?

    • @octanetvchannel
      @octanetvchannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would have to re rivet them

    • @dingchavez1960
      @dingchavez1960 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Or just get nuts and bolts to do what the rivets did so you don't need special tools.
