Thanks a bunch. It might seems ridiculous but it is quite helpful for most of us - non americans - living/studying in the US. In particular for day to day English, cause academic/classroom English is slow paced, well pronunced, gramatically correct, (with no slang, idioms, expressions, fewer phrasal verbs) - the kind of English you learn in an academy -. We know you are not making fun of us, I mean you would sound as funny trying to mimic the pronunciation of a language your are just learning. That's a fact: vast majority americans are lazy and are not patient when it comes to trying to understand a non native speaker. They want fast and clear english easy to "digest" but achieving that level of fluency takes a lot of effort, time and courage (daring not to be understood or seen as a mentally challenged person is nor for those faint of heart) unless you are a natural with overwhelming self confidence and developed personality
thank you for sharing this-it’s a perspective that many people don’t think about, but it’s so true. learning a new language and culture takes guts, and you’re doing amazing just by stepping out of your comfort zone. keep practicing, and don’t let impatience from others discourage you-it’s their loss if they don’t take the time to listen. donation links: venmo: venmo.com/authorjondt paypal: paypal.me/authorjond cashapp: cash.app/$authorjondt the author jonathan david (all subjects + new editions) $79 ultimate crash course for stem majors: author-jonathan-david-shop.fourthwall.com/? ultimate cheat sheet: payhip.com/b/jkn3n $39 ultimate crash course: payhip.com/b/m3aqh $49. for a limited time you get lifetime access to all of his books both fiction and nonfiction plus website access in a short and sweet format.

2:23 there is some similarities when it comes to France then. France is unbeatable for that instance.

I already speak English but hey this is a good refresher 😂
nice
I never understood why ppl said “I’m mad at” instead of “I’m angry at”, it was so confusing and still is since mad translates to crazy in Spanish
The word "mad" can also sometimes mean "crazy"/"mentally unstable" in other contexts.
language quirks can be weird “mad” and “angry” mean the same in english but yeah it’s confusing when it overlaps with spanish meanings
“The Author”
