It seems weird that the Empire made so much use of slave labor. They have droids, which can work for longer hours, in worse conditions, with no food or sleep. They also had heavy industry, and were not exactly concerned about making a mess. There's a reason the slave-using South had less industrial capacity than the free but mechanized North.
I like that you included footage of your ship battle film you made. I know the video didnt do as well as you had hoped at first. With all the expense of making it and the low vewership at first it can be discouraging. What if we, your viewers help crowd fund a continuation of it or a new one. Taking the financial burdon off can maybe make it less stressful to do. Crowd funding it and giving yourself a deadline that is pretty far out to not make it a stressball. I and many others really enjoyed it and love seeing the footage everytime you use it. I crave more. Please think about it.

Bubble one, because active sensors can fail or be cheated. SW ships simply weren't capable to constantly sustain shields, only planets. And as we know bubble shields were actually extremely efficient when they were active.

The only reason prisoners aren't simply killed is to prevent attacks on the prisons themselves. Every prisoner is a living shield when the prison is wired to kill everyone in the place on command.
So.... Marginally worse than many USA prison's solitary cells, if we ignore the outright torture droids and (most) of the anti-alien terrors. Oh, and the spiders. THAT spider-filled hell in particular was arguably worse than even anything we saw in WW2.

Battle of Jakku is simply when strongest remnant faction (owning SSD's) was finally destroyed, ensuring dominance of the new republic. Sadly everyone agree that whole war was rushed.
