Have you come across watches by other brands that have all of the same features (day, date, a lume system, case size and durability)? If so, what are they? Thank you for your content. I appreciate it.
Hi . Thanks for the review. It made me buy the watch, specially the fantastic matching of straps. I carefully went through description but couldn't find the links for the straps in the video. Could you perhaps check and update the links? Thanks in advance! Keep up the superb work
I recently purchased this model and it came with a screw down case back...so happy with it...perfect size and so functional. £29:95 from Argos...real bargain and, as you say, a real strap monster!.....update Argos have it on special at the moment for £19:95
Cool review, like it a lot - tough, reliable, quality little watches these with fab night lume, I have used them for many years. They hold together well too, various people I know have 10 and 12-year old models, including mine. I just can't imagine a Timex lasting that long these days...
I have had this watch for a couple months now and it is my daily wear. Day/date, Lumibrite, 100m, steel case. Awesome but now I lust for the Alba AQPJ403 which has all this plus Titanium. Lorus should have combined the day/date Lumibrite and Titanium.
My anonymous is awesome 👊. Great review of this piece mate, it's definitely one cool field watch and the lumed dial is crazy bright, you don't need a torch with that around.
A really nice watch which I am thinking of adding to my collection because of the day/date function. I have purchased two Lorus Titanium field watches which cost slightly more but offer really good value for money for the price. Dimensions of those watches are very similar to this Lumibrite model. Thanks for your review.
Thank you for posting. How long does it stay lit well enough to read in the dark? I'm a flight attendant & this could be handy trying to tell time in a dark cabin without having to hit a button like on my Timex Indiglo watch.
I've just bought one and although it's a lovely little watch and the lume is intense after being exposed to bright light or sunlight, it does not seem to last very long to me. I imagine even with a lot of sunlight hitting the dial that you would be hard pushed to see it in the dark much more than an hour and a half later. Definitely not as versatile or useful as a little Casio W86.
Thanks for the video, many have commented they have a screw back case... I found the following hope this helps: Lorus RXF41AX7 2013 37mm by 8mm Snap on case back 100 meters VX33 caliber 371 cell SR920W Lorus RJ655AX9 2018 37mm by 9mm Screw back case 100 meters VJ33 caliber 364 cell
Unfortunately, Lorus doesn't have much in terms of information on their website, too bad. We don't get too many Lorus options available here in Canada but loved the all lume dial! I have also picked up the newer model RJ655AX9 and was a little confused at the time why there were two versions, regardless 8 mm or 9 mm thick, its a damn thin watch compared to G-Shocks, Casio Duro and Seiko SNK809 Cheers!
Lumibrite is almost as bright as Super Luminova. Seiko makes some of the best lume for the price. This watch is really cool. Loving the lume dial. Nice gesture from Mr. Anonymous. Lots of really supportive and nice people on IG.
watchesinnature I own both and the Super Luminova has a slight edge on brightness and longevity but not worth the price tag difference since I’m comparing a $5k Omega to a 500.00 Seiko. Sounds like a new video idea on the channel to me. Thank you for the idea. 🤔
@@AvgJoeWatchReviews actually another really important factor is the number of layers applied as well. Apple to apple would be the same thickness (let's not go into viscocity 🤣) applied to be really able to compare the difference.
Worn this watch for a long time now and it's unbeatable for the price , my only negative is the glass ? It does scratch and I have had one shatter , that being said I would defiantly buy this watch again without a second thought .
l have had two of these watches and they both ran 3 secs slow a month. 36 seconds a year out! Unbelievable. On all these watches the second hand hits the market as well. Not perfectly, must admit, but good enough. Puts Timex to shame as lots of theirs are miles out!!!
They also have Pulsar which sits between Lorus and the Main Seiko branded watches. I think Lorus is the best value. Pulsar adds some bling but with only minor changes to the internals. They do also have some chronos if that's your thing.

Okay, the broken down description of two "fieldwatches", this time with only parts of the links: Xonix ZCE-006 (black) I've never seen anyone reviewing a Xonix, they make sports watches and digital fitness trackers which are usually kind of ugly, but some of their analog models look quite nice. AND additionally EL backlight when the lume runs out! Great review mate. I do love the look of this. There's just something special about a fully lumed dial.

I was just looking at one of these on EBay. I love field style watches.
Me too! And this one is really nice!
the best full lume dial that i have ever experienced
i love me Lumibrite ..These are a true sized field watch ...super legible too...
25£ from Argos, it's the best bang for buck I ever purchased.
Yours is an older model, doesn't have a screw down caseback. Mine has.
That's a great upgrade to the watch. And a great find too 👌🏻
I think you should continue the circle of kindness and send these 2 watches to me. 😋😎
Very cool little field watch, it certainly does like it's straps too. & that lumibrite dial is just 👌💚
I agree! Thank you for watching sir!
The lume is so strong hehehe cant miss the time ;) Great vid bro !
Thanks for watching amigo!
Great video sir. Love the look of that modded World Time. Take care.
It does look awesome! Thanks for watching Matt!
Hay jw how long does the glow last fro on the watch
thanks for showing it with different straps
RXF41AX7 or RJ655AX9 what differences, which is better?
an old post but,,,the only difference is the AX9 has a screw down back and is classed as an updated version, other than that they are exactly the same,
Keep up the good work. I enjoy your videos.
Thanks! I'm happy to hear that 😊

Does the date & day ever get stuck on these type of watches or any type
How long does the lume last ? Is there a black bezel model?
Great video!
I wish i can get this watch. I just ordered an Alba Chronograph with full lumibrite which is probably more expensive. Alba is another Seiko sub brand.
It's getting harder to find these! I would suggest you keep an eye out for it on eBay
I would like to buy this watch...but it is not available in my country ...
Great review. Could you please post the details of the straps you showed? Are they 18mm? Bit hard to find
Thank you!
Yes, these are 18mm. Plenty of them on AliExpress, and pretty much any straps brand keeps them too.
How can someone repair the Day of the week, it stucks
אחלה ביקורת! הזמנת את השעון הנ"ל לפני חודש בשעה טובה הגיע היום לסניף דואר! מחר אאסוף אותו ונראה מקרוב מה הוא שווה!

I bought one of these watches, the only thing wrong with it is the strap, Its too small to go on my wrist , so now i have to buy a bigger strap
@@MalcolmJames-sg3zg Good thing it's a strap monster, it looks great on any strap!

I'm not sure, but I think you can find some on eBay or Amazon
What size is the strap?
18mm
How are things going?
Link to watch in video???????
😒
Is it from Ben's watch club?
Mine is not as brite as that.
I've never seen a day/date that small
Not scratch resistant dial
Isn't more simple to use a digital watch and pres the light button
