Thanks for the insight, absolutely agree there's a hidden bamboo ceiling that systems and workplace does not want to address. Lately my free time has been looking into profiling and supporting people of immigrant, first gens and disadvantaged backgrounds. Most of my mentors are immigrants and first gens, which honestly gave me the confidence that I belong in the workplace and can move forward. I hope to be able to continue showing light to the new generation as well.

Mentors and sponsors make a world of difference in terms of advancing. Unfortunately, many are not cognizant of the benefits it brings.
