Bikepacking the Cairngorms

- Did a fantastic 4 day bikepacking tour of the Cairngorms in Scotland, wild camping 3 nights. Tough going with beautiful scenery and largely benign weather - it's Scotland so there had to be one bad (half) day.

Really enjoyed that Gareth, great slow TV and I'm pleased you enjoyed your 'summer' adventure! My tip for you - get a gravity water filter like the AlpKit one; I had a small pump at first and it killed my wrist and a few litres.

Fascinating route Gareth, if it’s beyond your skill set it is definitely beyond my abilities. The nearest we will get to the off-road section will be parts of the Spay side way in September.
Shame about the musical bed drowning out your audio this time, not sure if you have listened back to you it.
I dropped the music for the important bits - rest is just me wittering!
It looked a great route though, we will be popping on and off bits of the badger divide in September, which will probably be our limit.
Looks like a great route, but I think I'd tackle it on my MTB (even though I have a Camino).
I've learnt to embrace 'hike a bike' - having a fancy name for it helps!

Another fantastic adventure, thanks for sharing. Looks like you have an Alpkit Gravitas jacket. Are you finding it's barely waterproof? Mine is horrendous.

Looking at your other comments about the accompanying music, i would just like to add that it's a deal breaker for me. Also 6 advert rolls in a 25 min video is excessive. Please listen to your feedback as you have excellent content and personality to grow your channel.
