I feel weird saying this but ODST’s soundtrack, in my opinion, manages to be a lot deeper than any of the games in the original trilogy. Idk what it is. I think ODST’s soundtrack just captures the lonely feeling and the hopelessness that the UNSC and humanity feel as they’re losing a hopeless war against the Covenant.
No you’re correct and your 3M buddies who you never met because that’s a lot of Odsts but still you feel sad and miss your friends now they’re dead because of the covenant!! So now you feel the need to go out with a bang....and destroy them! They destroyed your best friends! Your family! Your Brothers arms! Now they will pay but you’re the only one left, what do I do now? Depressed and lonely there’s no hope.......while I like Master Chief I think Jesus Christ is best! Idc what anyone thinks God is first! But master cheif second like Steve Downes........event that old man it makes me want to cry I hope I get to attend his funereal when he passes away a true legend that I never personally but still......I’d like to meet him of course not be apart of his life because I’m just a freaking stranger but who does not?!
it felt as if the halo in the video right now the halo was in there all alone in the universe and was the last halo of it kinds because of all the mission lots of them died and this halo in the cover was the last kind and it like the last halo just went out at the rainy day looking to see how all this has changed and that the war was finally over and so the last halo just have a brief peace until his life end. This is just what i think, and it really sad but it a good end 😢
odst is my favorite halo campaign and game, solely for the reason i never felt more immersed in any halo game, maybe its cause it was the first halo i played and i was a little kid. hell i didnt play the game till a year after i got it because i was too scared of the dark in the first mission. this game really just made my childhood magic in all honesty
Rainy night in Vancouver right now. Taking a late walk in the rain with this track with the view of the lit city and the night sky and wet streets with no one around, and the simple reflection of the moon on the ocean's horizon while the raindrops patter the water....its heaven. Warm air. Halo does this track so well.
+Captain Cuh I'm pretty sure this soundtrack is expressly intended to sound like "empty rainy city at night". I'm not sure what exactly invokes that feeling, but I can't picture this with anything else beyond deep space, which almost feels the same anyway.
For me is: Halo CE: the original Halo 2: good history Halo 3: Nostalgia Halo 3 odst: The best music, the best ambientation. Halo reach: THE BEST CAMPAING AND MULTIPLAYER.
Reach had a heavy, beautiful narrative; Halos 1-3 had epic, driving soul. But ODST is the one game I’ve consistently leaned on when revisiting the series. Nothing feels more comfortable than being all on your own, no breath wasted, no moment squandered, swallowed in a mosaic of reflective neon and the dark embrace of a warm downpour, with nothing but your weapon and your will to keep you upright. Marty O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori could not have captured the feeling of noble solitude better if they had an entire lifetime working at it. Thank you for this compilation.
Today I lost a dear friend, my cat of 15 years, who I named "Chief". As I listen to this, I feel a bittersweet melancholy looking back on our time together, many times he'd sit by me as I played through the various Halo games. It's been an honor serving with you, Chief.
AaronThe EpicBoy my reverse brindle boxer's name is chief. i remember the day i got him i knew what i was naming him from the start. this game has touched so many lives
Bungie, Martin O'Donnell, and Michael Salvatori really have created something special here. Never have I played a game where the atmosphere and depths of the story have been so beautifully captured by the accompanying music.
@@Vastolorde71 half life was released in 1998 when halo only started development in 1997. In which it wasn't even a fps. It was some shitty real time strategy game.
@@Vastolorde71 Half Life 1 still came out before Bungie decided to make Halo CE into a story driven tactical FPS game. What game do you think inspired them to go that route? What other story driven tactical FPS game came out before Halo did? Honestly, both Half Life and Halo are both pioneers of story driven shooters. If it wasn't for either one, we wouldn't have awesome games like Resistance, Killzone, or Borderlands.
Rookie walking the empty wet streets of New Mombasa at night will always be one of the most memorable, impactful and harrowing moments of my gaming life. What a game
I like ODST’s beginning because you’re not some war machine Spartan like chief. You’re a marine that’s the closest thing to a Spartan but still a marine. Your mission goes wrong and you’re separated from your squad with covenant ships and soldiers patrolling the streets in some big ass city having to figure out where your squad is even though it’s been hours since they’ve been there and you think they already left you.
It's the pain of being alone from your operating unit. So you are using the best of your training to regroup with your squad which must happen because your original mission couldn't go as planned.
Which is ironic because ODST is the easiest of all the halos on legendary. It actually makes me laugh that the ballistic vest you wear is stronger than the armor of a Spartan.
Yea, this music and the bleak, nighttime setting where you're uncovering what happened to the team made the whole game feel like a playable film noir detective story. Even piecing together the audio logs was really interesting. The soundtrack alone was one of my favorite things about this game. Definitely one of my favorites in the series.
Damn, a 7 year old soundtrack making me miss the good old days, i ran home after school just to play this game on release, makes me miss halo 3 and halo 2 a lot.
Evan VanWie it all went downhill when bungie let it go, my childhood revolved around the halo franchise and now it's just not the same thanks to Microsoft
It's been 12 years. ODST came out in 2009. I still remember walking down those void streets of New Mombasa, desperate not to be seen, picking and looting leftovers from a battle that ended hours ago. Contacting the Monitor and trying to make sense of it, aswell the entire situation. The outlines of the environments in the midnight shade. The choking corridors of dark buildings, going from room to room and clearing them. The broken screen with a helmet lodged in it. The empty med-gel canister. All, by that point, relics of what had happened before. The rain pouring down, lending the most desperate of time some tranquility. The fires casting a sick smoke into the skies and painting them all hues of orange and yellow. The fights on the skyscrapers, running a Warthog dry with the last tank of fuel, the endless hordes storming a plaza. A tank led by a couple brave souls smashing down fortifications of the invader. The mystery laid bare as you persevere, and what needs to be done.

Everyone is like "OMG Minecraft OST is so nostalgic omggg" but are we all going to forget the bueatiful, quiet sountrack made by Martin? His work extremely matches the ingame scenario and place, i love it
@calum brown i wish there was but 343 decided to kill the rookie off they had 3 options develop him as a character, dont mess with him at all or, kill him and they chose to kill him
I've always been hoping for like a Medal of Honor Airborne esque ODST game that took place during the height of the war, where you can control the location where you will be dropped and attack objectives in any order you want.
Noche fría en México. Mis padres no estan en casa, escuchar esto y cocinar solo para mi cerca de navidad es como magia pura... Halo siempre estará presente en mi vida de una manera muy especial.
Halo 3 ODST came out 10 years ago now and these songs bring me back to those times. 10 years ago I was in college trying to complete my degree. During the Fall of 2009, my father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Hearing these songs again makes see those times again inside my head. In fact, these songs really do fit the mood of what I was going through. @Maqsimous thank you for posting this. Even though I was going through bad times when this game came out there were some good things in this time period for me. These songs feel like a companion for me during those times when I was struggling. I hope you are able to read this one day and know that you brightened a user's day by sharing these songs. Thank you again.

Back when I was ten, I would go over my friends house on the weekends, bring my Xbox, and we’ll just stay up all night playing this specific game. The nostalgia is real man.
This somehow manages to single handedly pull of the lonley theme of being an ODST. It somehow captures my heart in an indescribable way. The theme shows the after math of invasion, of war, of fear... I steal imagine what it must be like to be an ODST none the less of being a marine. The theme captures suspense. I cannot thank Bungie enough for helping me develop my imagination, and also my love for the golden eror. I am still a young child but I feel as if I was around in the golden eror. And I can only hope that infinte might just retain a bit of Bungie "spark".
Yea, this is a big part of what a lot of games are lacking these days. You need music that helps sell the story, and works with the narrative, not against it. A lot of games just have generic music that doesn't necessarily go with anything happening.
I didn't have a 360 growing up, but i had friends who did and playing halo online was some of the most fun i ever had. It's so incredibly sad that the servers are being shut down, and thankfully we have the masterchief collection to go to if we want our fix, but i don't think it'll ever be the same as those long past good times. Growing up, closing in on 30 years old now I don't talk with my friends too often, as we've all begun to go down our separate paths in life but that's okay. I'll cherish those memories forever. If any of my friends come across this comment, know that I love you guys, and my life would have been much more bleak without you guys.
The one thing you can't get back is your first time experiencing Halo, But the memories you had of it. We all wish we were younger to experience that moment again, that moment of pure happiness and sadness. Thank you, Bungie, Martin, and Micheal for creating this. Thank you for all those nights of multiplayer with friends. When it was time to go your friend would say "Let's play again sometime" knowing you will never see them again, and now you're that the last member of your team playing alone and you remember all those times, and only sadness fills it. The last thing you see is their profile saying *Last been on 3 years ago* but you remember that they're just missing in action and not gone. 0:00 Deference for Darkness 15:08 No Stone Unturned 16:41 The Light at the End 19:11 Finale 22:23 Deference for Darkness (Reprise)
Bungie was just made up of couple of 20 year Olds in an apartment making games... the legendary team that made games that would touch generations... they were just out there to follow their dreams... and they did...but what changed... what happened to bungie... sadly all good things must come to an end... Microsoft really was to blame for the end of bungie... corporate greed was now the primary objective of the gaming franchise... the original Bungie wasn't there for that... they cared about the experience, the fans, and the community. Now it just a franchise with a community torn in two between new and old. It's a tragic ending to such a great game and development team. I almost get the same feeling as if someone had passed away... the game series had been such a big part of my life and many others... farewell bungie, thanks for the great experience you gave to us all. "It's been one hell of a ride. See you starside".
+Dr Shemp You just put into words everything i feel about the present situation T_T its fucking sad, i grew up with Bungie and the original halo trilogy....... there was a video in the bonus disc in the halo 3 legendary edition where members of bungie get asked where do you see bungie in 10 years from now... next years it will be 10 years and its just fucking sad......... everything worthwhile has an ending but i still think that the original members of bungie should just get together and fund a new project.
duuude you just gave me goosebumps. It's exactly how i feel! I'm sitting at work right now dreaming of all the great times i had playing these games. huge part of my life. wont EVER forget it. Martin O'Donnell we love you!!
This is such a great game. A lot of people really underrate this game, but I think it's brilliant. The film-noir vibe - helped obviously by the phenomenal soundtrack - really make this game stand out.
So much nostalgia here. The Halo series actually cuts deeper for me because all the armor design of the UNSC, Spartans and ODSTs was carried over from an even older game that I believe even the old Bungie will not continue. It was called ONI, a game inspired by the cyberpunk Ghost in the Shell. The game has its flaws, but also a great amount of untapped potential as the ending has left quite the cliffhanger. Thanks for Halo, Bungie. Thanks for ONI, Bungie. You made my childhood.
There is so many boxes of Halo reach that have been either been seared from when my house got set alight or riddled with bullet holes from a break in which involved guns..
More than likely they ended halo with halo 3 (and the prequels odst and reach) Because they knew when to quit, or at least didn't know how to continue the story.
Love listening to this when I walk around Boston, especially at night. It's easy to just relax and roam around when you have this kind of peaceful music to zone out too.
I loved this games soundtrack back when it first came out. Reminded me so much of the loneliness I felt when I explored the almost abandoned city of New Mombasa, and when the music kicked up, like at around 0:51, I always felt like I was the Rookie rushing to try and find my squad after getting a new lead.
i remember one day in LA listening to this song on break at work , my job was to fix around in Rich people Homes and there was this rich community that had big backyards and remember it was raining softly as the it splashed on all these unkown looking plants and i watched through the window. it was one of the best experiences in my life cause although it lasted briefly i was in a happy relaxed carefree zone in mind and body. it felt like i was on reach rather than new mombassa and took in the beauty that our own world has. the soothing jazz along with the rain held the power to heal. beautiful soundtrack.
Thank you so much for compiling these songs into a video. I have been listening to this for the past two years for whenever I study for any Architecture History exam. For some reason, I think it helps.
My parents wouldnt let me play halo till I was ten and I remember waking up as early as I could on my birthday running over to the TV and popping Halo 3 ODST in as my first halo after watching my Dad and Brother play halo for so long. I'm so glad Halo 3 ODST was my first halo because the atmosphere was perfect and it will forever be my favorite thank you Martin O'Donnell and Bungie for crafting such a masterpiece and RIP to the best fps franchise I wish Microsoft would bring it to a close and stop spitting in the face of what the games once were...
I stared at my window when this played and the sky was giving off that beautiful cotton candy look that it gives off during a sunset. I nearly shed a tear.
Why there aint no Oscars and Emmys and whatnot for OST music?? People that made this shit need some recognition. Not only money but something more, some kind of love and gratitude and shit
This music is just pure art. and remembering the old days, it brings a tear to my eye. The music, the ambiance, the story of a lost rookie wandering the streets of a dead city with no end in sight. and as the music plays and you find a new gate to open, it makes it feel like there's no end, like it goes on forever. It's cinematic.
When I was 6 years old, I played my first video game. That game was Halo. And after that I continued to play the next 3 Halos. Because Halo played such a large role in my life. I truly miss the old ways of the game. I still have them all and I will never throw them away... Thanks for the amazing experience Bungie. :)
I am going to be very blunt and critical; ever since Halo 3 ODST released its sound track surpasses anything what I have seen or head from modern gaming. The year is 2024 and nothing has even come close to this. Even if a game is good, like say Elden Ring or First Descendant ect, nothing has come this close. Halo 3 ODST has the most unique soundtrack to any video game I have ever played in my entire life, never have I heard such beautiful and breathtaking music in a game before. Some parts in the themes make me feel like I am about to cry because I can feel the desperation of Humanity's struggle against the Covenant, it makes the threat of the Covenant's genocidal campaign against humanity feel personal and feel like a very real threat. It doesn't matter how many covies you take down, the battle is futile in the end. It also shows how much weight the Master Chief has on his shoulders. The Rookie is just a normal guy, what can he do against the covenant? I really can not find a modern video game with a soundtrack that comes this close.
God the things I'd do to experience the feeling of playing this game for the first time again.... What an awesome experience I was lucky enough to be given. The atmosphere, the soundtrack, the script... Everything about this game was beautiful. A whole seven years since this masterpiece came out. I really miss that time period in my life.
You still there ? It’s been 6 since your comment.. and 13 years since the game came out.. how i miss those days. Things never got better since those days huh
Such a great game, such great music, honestly a perfect duo. The switches between the somber aftermath of a war zone scattered city and the action packed sections of blitz and bullets. All of the transitions blend well, painting a perfect picture that screams “war” and shows the connections of a lost comrade piecing a puzzle together by himself. Don’t get me wrong, I love the action sections, and the characters just emit an aura of personality, and yet I feel so more attached to the rookie, not only as your piecing the puzzle with him, but also that you are him. He is a mute vessel in which you can interact with the world. That was one thing, in my opinion, that Bungie nailed: the silent protagonist. Sure, having life and such in the game would’ve been nice, even if it was a brief backstory like in Reach, but Ilike the mystery. You draw the rookie as who YOU, the player thing the rookie should be, and thus through your play style. Sneaky? Maybe you’ll find touts around enemy encaments. Trigger happy? You’ll love the red plasma pistols and find yourself knee deep in hunter guts. Explorationist? You’ll find every extra cashe and audio note in the over world there is to find. Through this unknown medium, you don’t feel pressured to be the gun crazy Chief, and can play any role you want. With the addition of fewer shields and the return of health goes a step further how human you are, and how unaugmented you are. You CAN go in shotgun in hand, blasting away, but chances are, cover is your best friend, and lobbing grenades for easy line-breaks is a habit. This goes for both the action levels and the over world sections. Not to mention the beitifull music in the midst of all of this! It helps set the scene, flairs curiosity, warns defensively, blooms gently, booms harshly, almost every emotion is felt in the midst of all the missions. The music also sets the tone and theme, especially in the over world. I myself am a huge fan of jazz, and the hints of the sax was ingenious, giving a more urban, modern feel to the game with smooth undertones. The music you hear in the overworld is that perfect smooth symphony of the gentle piano and the soft sax, a perfect duet. All of this, and it’s a Halo game? This game was genuinely too good for its time, and being sold as an add on for full retail price set many off, but those who put their economic concerns aside were greeted with a true fantastical experience. I cannot say that I was into the game at the time, I was a younger kid then, but now I play for a minute, and get sucked in and end up playing it all the way through! If there were more levels, more pod drops, or forge, it would really be the perfect Halo game, in my opinion. It breaks my heart knowing this was one of the last true Bungie Halo titles, and you can tel they poured their heart and soul into this masterpiece, and knowing the chance of a TRUE Bungoro sequel will probably never come is even worse. I would love to see another installment in the ODST viewpoint, as it’s really an untouched canvas with a perfect base. However, with the way the recent Halo games came out, I’d rather play it safe and just have one masterpiece to its name, as hard as it is to say that. Now, the looks of Halo Infinite strike my fancy, and a Halo ODST game I that style would certainly be interesting, like a semi fictional semi realistic look. As long as it’s dark, has rain, is long enough for a good long game sesh, and has more of this music, I’ll pay whatever it takes. Just make sure it gets Bungies approval first! Sorry if there are any typos or anything of the sort, commenting on my phone
This summarizes my idea on the game too. This was my favourite Halo in the entire series due to it's rag-tag/undercover feel. It feels almost like a real war is being fought here, seeing you have to duck down, and stay under the radar; it has this realistic attachment to it, like it's telling a story of a lost, strong willed, yet broken soldier, but in such a way that other Halo games don't offer. Sadly, a rather astronomical amount of the original Bungie team have either retired, or left the company; I crave another game like this, but it seems that one will not come in a long time. I'm glad you commented with such precision as to what my feelings are for this game, I haven't played it in years, so I'm sure to have a session of it once I'm over at my friend's house soon. This game is such an inspiring piece of work, the themes in it are just so truthful, and beautifully tragic, I can't tell if it's nostalgia or not, but I'm genuinely anticipating my next playthrough of the game~
This may sound a bit insensitive to the mood, but I heard that there was an ODST mod for Reach PC if you want to try that out, no shields, 3rd person, less maneuverable, and no super strength. ODST really was an underrated game that only gets better as you age.
I remember listening to this, I was about 16. Moved in to a whole new house. It was 2013.I had this free promotion line where I had 3 months of mobile service from a friend.I remember lookin up halo odst jazz videos. I listened to this alot.
2022 this still hits on a deep nostalgic level. The year before my best friend moved away to Phoenix, leaving Chicagoland, me, his siblings and parents behind for good. Only to return once yearly for a week or so. Fortunately I travel for work so we still hang from time to time. Growing up & graduating high school in 2010 meant that these halo games were definitely a major part of our maturing phase. We used to ride around and listen to Deference and traffic jam while smoking when it would rain at night. Thanks Martin Odonnel And Micheal Salvatore, sorry if the spelling is wrong. Odst and Reach both still impact the way I carry myself as a man today.
You can relly hear parts of the Halo Reach sound track, especially the drums that create a culmination of all Halo games. A symbolic unification of the story if I must say. It is interesting to a degree how both Reach and ODST follow a sad story in its core. Reach sees the death of NOBLE team as they attempt to save Reach from the earlier covenant and at the same time carry the story that was left to them only around 9 years earlier. But ODST did come out prior to Reach so maybe there was that link in progression. The ODST saw the side of Bungie slowly losing footing especially with Halo (Im not criticizing the Halo games CE - Reach, im talking about the games afterwards) that would soon start to pull away the feeling within the community that still manages to live on with Reach coming back on pc with mod support which I see as phenomenal. But the last two Bungie halos really bring the story. No longer are you seen as this super soldier. You're much less than that in some ways. You are strong together, but still falter in some way by yourself. You could say this in reference to NOBLE team. Each remember really dies by themselves. In some somber and others explosive ways that fit into the characters. I believe it was the act man to point out the deaths and how they link to their characters. six (the lone wolf) dies alone, carter (the captain) dies in a blaze of explosive glory, emile (knife dude) gets killed by an energy sword, kat (brains) gets shot in the head, jordon (native to reach) dies off of reach, but Jun (the sniper) doesn't die, kinda fitting with the role of a sniper. Now while their isn't nearly as much death for main characters in ODST, the situation from which they are around leave a much greater atmosphere that give an emotional situation to the overarching story, which finally concludes with REACH.
I’ve been getting into halo a lot recently with the mcc and guardians and I remember the fist time played ODST I had breezed through the covenant in CE, 2 and 3 but when I fist encountered them in ODST they genuinely scared me as even though i was the closest thing to a Spartan the music and lighting and the fact I was in a completely empty city gave the feeling I was doomed which is why it is one of the best halo games. (Along with every other game because they are all amazing)
I woke up early in the morning, listened to this while it was snowing, I saw a Little tree under a street lamp while it was snowing my heart melted from the beautiful ambiance and such a beautiful scene.

This was one of the best Halo games. Instead of a spartan, you were just a trooper, struggling to push through in a forsaken city. Really brought an interesting atmosphere.
I'm not crying, you are. Whenever i listened to these tracks i remembered about my ex that i love till this day. I hope i can be always with her, she bough me MCC and since then i played all the MCC games. What a time to be remembered. Right now i'm struggling with anxiety and sudden panic attack, i really love these tracks but right now it gave me nothing but sad memories... well i hope i can get through over this, be happy once more, play all the MCC games again without have to think about what's happening between me and her. Reach had a heavy, beautiful narrative; Halos 1-3 had epic, driving soul. But ODST is the one game I’ve consistently leaned on when revisiting the series. Today I lost a dear friend, my cat of 15 years, who I named "Chief". As I listen to this, I feel a bittersweet melancholy looking back on our time together, many times he'd sit by me as I played through the various Halo games. It's been an honor serving with you, Chief.

Unlike chiefs shields; the only thing standing between you and a plasma shot is Kevlar. Use your whits here soldier, they’re all you have left.

Holy sh**, that was amazing.

Yea, this is a big part of what a lot of games are lacking these days. You need music that helps sell the story, and works with the narrative, not against it. A lot of games just have generic music that doesn't necessarily go with anything happening.
Those Cowboy Bebop vibes. They should use this in an anime. This soundtrack is too good to be lost to history.
ODST drops on steam this summer, and the firefight returns on all systems. I don't think we'll need to worry.
Marty O Donnel... The John Williams of video games

So much nostalgia here. The Halo series actually cuts deeper for me because all the armor design of the UNSC, Spartans and ODSTs was carried over from an even older game that I believe even the old Bungie will not continue. when 2:25 comes on: "MA HEART MAN, IT HURTS"
I always find myself either listening to or humming this soundtrack every time it’s raining. I suppose that just goes to show how immersive it is.

The other ODST songs were decent, but THESE tracks are just brilliant. The best!
I can't stop listening to these tracks daily.
What I love about this soundtrack is that it feels like Halo but it's also very different, it also feels like a prequel to Reach soundtrack
Big thunderstorm outside rn. Listening to this next to my window late at night. Feels good man.

My dog has Anxiety when it storm's. Put this on and she laid right down
This is beautiful... bungie needs to come back.
agreed... but most of the original bungie employees that made halo retired :/
sigh... Thats a damn shame isn't it.
How will we ever cope??
+Peter Liszka idk man :(
Bungies dead the original team is gone
Sadly, I don't think that's happening :,(
I had to find a way to integrate gaming into homework, and this track is my go 2.
Nick Allen yes same! :)
:)
Nick Allen As I am listening to this I am writing a paper for Political Science. Same here, gotta love ODST's soundtrack.
Lol nice man. This comment reminded me of doing that. Should be useful since i just started college.
Second Lieutenant Donovan Pol Sci is pretty cool, I think I'm doing that next semester.
7:55 and 13:01 are my favourite parts. Fantastic atmosphere on the streets with these.
I need some help trying to find 7:55's song.
@@androidthemerk same
I know im 4 years late, but if by any chance you happen to see this, it's the second part of Neon Night.
Who actually listens to this when it rains with thunder?
Me, ricardo
Same
Right here lmao
me boi why?
I will now. I just recently started playing Halo and so far, I've been having a GREAT time playing CE.
This was one of the best Halo games. Instead of a spartan, you were just a trooper, struggling to push through in a forsaken city. Really brought an interesting atmosphere.
Does anyone know the name of the track playing at 14:15? It's use of saxophone is simply cream
The end of bits and peices I think
"Cream" I died :')
Neon Night
Reminds me of the sax part from boyz n the hood when they are going to kill Ricky
Fischstix95 neon night
Halo is best summed up to this quote "You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain."
Bungie nailed the music for this game. I love their use of the piano and sax.
Here’s to Halo Infinite being the game we all hope it can be
Goose bumps for days
I'm not crying, you are.
Whenever i listened to these tracks i remembered about my ex that i love till this day. I hope i can be always with her, she bough me MCC and since then i played all the MCC games. What a time to be remembered. But now i'm all alone, i felt this anxiety, afraid of loneliness, and missing the love and care that she once gave me. My heart feels like hollow, like there's a hole in it. Right now i'm struggling with anxiety and sudden panic attack, i really love these tracks but right now it gave me nothing but sad memories... well i hope i can get through over this, be happy once more, play all the MCC games again without have to think about what's happening between me and her.
But i really hope that one day, one day, she'll be back and love me once more until the end of my life.
feel you mate. did get the same feel on my old minecraft map and some other game:( But now I can play these without feel this shit :) Be strong think about other game for a litle while.. that's not easy but you will get over it! I dont say this game and his soundrack wont give u notalgia... I still got some for myself but there are not bad like there where in past .. hope that it help :) dont give up ;)
Not many games manage to capture the same atmosphere as Mombasa Streets.
The main soundtrack for the others games gets you pumped and it's all amazing. But Odst has that certain feeling that just hits different
i am trying to copy this on my sax! so far soo gooood!
How is it now?
how's it going? im currently doing a full cover of Diference from darkness in piano, going good so far im in about 80% done and it was mostly by ear and aaaaaaaa im so proud of it lmfao
How is it so far?!!!
one of the best halo games ever!!!!
2018 and still relaxing with this...I love it...
Wow, this makes me cry ngl. I remember when I played Halo Reach and 4 in 2013. I got yelled at in online games and it made me laugh and cry. I didn’t friend anyone because i never knew how it worked. This music gives me flashbacks to all the good Halo days. I hope Halo Infinite could fix it and bring my memories back. This is also my favorite Jazz.
this gets me in my feels, such a great game
The halo series means alot too me. It was qith me throughout my childhood and sticks with me too this day. Thank you bungie.
wow im totally feeling this soundtrack...one of the most beautiful pieces i ever heard!
NOBODY CAN EVER TOP THIS W
Dont mean to ramble but I also remember trying to draw that cover art as a child. It was so hard.
lets not forget why halo was made to represent those who died in wars and battles across the world may they never be forgotten thats also why they made the song dont forget
Personally, still continues to be one of my favorite games of all time, even by today’s standards, and this soundtrack only roots it in its place.
I forgot how amazing this game's music was. Seriously, it's making me tear up
Awesome study music, thanks a bunch!
