The best decent family show that people with families will definitely benefit from. The series taught us decency, moral, honesty, hard work ,respect with one another and equality in treating others with respect regardless of your skin color race or religion. No movies ever had these qualities now period. There wont be another Michael Landon not in this lifetime. Gone too soon.
I'm watching LHOTP for the first time. It's excellent! I just finished watching, " Highway to Heaven," and I can't believe how talented Michael Landon was. Everything he did was exceptional! ❤

He really grew up after Bonanza, looked so much older by the time Little House came along.... Little House and The Walton's were almost twin shows, both ran for 9 seasons in the 70s and early 80s.....

(Today was all in the family) and others. Working and fortnite is also taking away from my tv viewing time. Thank you for letting me know when the show is on, living in canada and I don’t think I can access those channels. No worries I bought all the seasons and have converted the dvds to files on the computer.
Is it just me? I can't see him apart from being his actor Charles Ingalls? I think he acts pretty much as himself, very genuine, and so likeable. I'd imagine he'd have been great to act with, his confidence and easy going nature and his emotional generosity would hold anyone up to do their best. How kool that the Bonanza crew got parts in the show, they would have been perfect, familiar with the old clothing and handling horses with all those horse and carriages needed for the background.
Thank God he didn't take any of the alternative programming he was offered!! I am a alone 60 year old sap, and love the emotional and sentimental aspects to Little House on the Prairie.
Micheal landon is so missed. I'm sure US would been another hit pilot was made. I loved highway Mike and victor french were amazing together. When you watch that show I cannot believe micheal been dead 30 years now victor 32 years.

I always liked him and had a crush on him but then I heard that he was really nasty to his co star on little house on the prairie... He was vulgar.. And that's not acceptable so my opinion changed but I still think he was very handsome
