I bought a brand new 1987 SS in May of 87. Hell I remember the day I bought if all these years later.
Black, with red striping, grey interior, loaded with t-tops. Man I loved that car.
Perfect sounding 305. And hey, who really dislikes a g body.

Every time I see any G-Body General Motors vehicle, I always got to give credit for how well many owners of these take great care of them. In the long run they are worth every penny to keep.
I had a 78 Malibu with factory bucket seats and center console. I think those were canadian cars. Rarest one was with T tops.
Got an 80 year old neighbor that has a built 350 Monte Carlo right across the street from me sitting on Mickey Thompsons. Bad ass ride but he doesn’t drive it anymore, just starts it up once in a while.
The 305 was always overlooked by the 350 but it’s pretty cool to see one

Just about due for an LS Swap. Get that 180hp/235ftlbs trq boat anchor with TH200-4R out in favor of 7.0L LSX/4L80E. With 4 wheel Big Brake upgrade.

Them wheels look good you hating they bigger then stock but that style of wheel fits that car perfect🤷🏾♂️

The only good Caliber there is. Honestly, the rest of the models were pure garbage. 😂
@@CB12345 I have a Caliber SE, and it's a pretty fun car.. But there are things I hate about it, the fact there isnt any power windows, keyless entry, the whole interior is made of cheap plastic, to name a few. Though I didnt want anything too crazy in terms of power and I had a budget of $3000 bought the car for $1200, spent $1500 to get it back in working order (put all the parts on myself except for the radiator) and so far I spent about $300 in mods including the exhaust, cold air intake, and speaker upgrades. I plan on getting an amp and digital stereo soon. Plus it's also a manual transmission so double points for that. Overall for a first car I'd gotta put it at a 7/10, nothing too crazy, but nothing that will make you say "aw this car is a real piece of crap!" but I understand not everyone likes the Caliber, kind of like licorice or candy corn I feel like its an "acquired taste" :) I did really want an SRT4 model of it, and I still do. But since there were only a couple thousand of them built it's very hard to find one near me, and have them be completely stock. Nearest one that I could find was like 200 miles away and $6000
@@SkoolConnor Not bad at all for a first car. Huge respect for you wrenching on it yourself. My advice, save your money for an SRT and keep an eye out. If you're patient, one will eventually pop up and you'll be glad you have the cash for it.

Beautiful car. Sounds a lil too clappy, but nice deep tone.
That Durango is probably an RT with the Tow N Go package and not the SRT. It said "HEMI" on the fender which means RT. If it had the 292 badge it would be an SRT. I have the RT Tow N Go with exhaust mods, sounds great.
Oil pressure though the roof!
It just doesn't have the power to go with the sound tho. That BigWheel needs a LS Swap asap!

My bro had an 84 and I had an 87 442. Those bark a little hard on the rev down. We did x pipes on them and they sounded insane.
