Excellent video, Boulder! I definitely agree that the Barnes era stuff is the absolute peak, with Vile closely following behind it. After that, they really fell off, for me. Fair play with the commitment of owning all 16 of those albums, and for listening to them all to do a ranking! I do like Cannibal Corpse, but I think I would check out as soon as I got past KILL, tbh. Their last few albums are so plodding and dull to me, its like they're a completely different band. Interesting how you said that KILL was their last album that blew you away, but then you ranked Evisceration Plague above it! 😜 Tbh, that title track does my head in! 😂 Cheers! 🤘
Good to hear your thoughts on the albums James. Definitely a band I need to dive deeper into. I know their first few and a couple of the newer ones but this has helped with those albums in-between. Yeah Hammer smashed face is a beast of a song!
Awesome Cannibal Corpse ranking, James! It'll be difficult to rank them all because they don't have a bad album in their discography. Very cool to see Tomb of the Mutilated close to the top.
Great ranking video, not often I watch these, but was interesting to see. Not a big fan of the Chris Barnes vocals, but on Bleeding he is great. My top 5 would be 1. The Wretched Spawn 2. Vile 3. The Bleeding 4. Gore Obsessed 5. Bloodthirst Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Have only listened to maybe 7 of their albums (they have so many! ) but I'm surprised to see Vile so high up. I must've listened to it three times by now. So few of the songs stood out to me, Disfigured and Eaten From Inside (such iconic guitar here) are literally the only two that stay in my head. I love Butchered at Birth , definitely the heaviest one I've heard from them but the song writing I find to be quite lackluster. Like , is it insanely heavy and groovy and does it make me want to go nuts? Yes. But not many of the songs stay in my head afterwards. Compared to the likes of The Bleeding (seriously how is this album so good) I can name more than half the songs and hum the melody of the chorus or other part or whatever. Liked your video man!
The Bleeding is an absolute banger isn't it. I listened to Vile so much when that album came out, so I know the songs very well. Thanks for watching and commenting
Fantastic stuff Mr Boulder. The bleeding is actually my least favourite of the Barnes era🤔 Tomb Of Mutilated is my favourite. Really tough to pick my favourite Corpsegrinder era album but I’ll say Vile. I’m seeing them in Birmingham in a few weeks, very excited.
@@mrboulder9714 I always do! And with CC, I feel like almost any order would be legit. Their catalog is that good. Two surprises from your ranking for me were that "Kill" was so low (top 10, yeah, but barely) and that the Barnes era got so much love. Really enjoyed it though.
First time checking out one of your videos. Very solid ranking for sure. 👍. I got into them when Eaten was released. That one may still be my favorite along with The Bleeding, Tomb, Vile, Evisceration Plague, and Gore Obsessed. I do really enjoy the newer albums as well.
Havn't seen many cannibal corpse ranking videos before had all their stuff up till skeletal domain then life changed for me met the missus got married bought a house etc etc so like many of the legacy death metal acts I've lost track of their more recent output can't argue with your no 1 choice that's my favourite barnes era album but for me I still like gallery of suicide for my fave corpse grinder one!
Hey James! What I love about cannibal rankings is that no two rankings are the same 😂 what some of us have at the bottom, others have at the top haha. Like myself, I put skeletal domain at number two and pretty sure and bloodthirst down the bottom 😂 great video!
I just cant take to the George era. Admittedly ive not tried all the albums but it just sounds like a very different beast. Very sort of on rails. The early stuff is all about the groove and the storytelling for me. I think the Vile demo with Barnes is way better than the actual Vile album. You will get some pile of views on this video im guessing! Beard and cap combo looking good. You need an Obituary Camo Cap 🤘
@metalmickey For me, they've really stagnated these last 10 years. They've got a formula, and their very much sticking to it. I am on the look out for that Obituary camo cap actually mate. Cheers as always Mike

Great review there mate , love all CC albums but the Barnes era is and always will be my top 4 - I would however put Red before Black a lot higher in the ranking.

Outstanding job and an amazing collection. My memory isn’t good enough to rank a discography the size of Canibal’s. 😂 I know the work that goes into something like this and I admire your efforts. Cheers Mr. B
Great Cannibal Corpse ranking James! They've done so many albums, and been so consistent. There's still quite a few albums I'm yet to listen to, but every one I have listened to I've enjoyed. I'd probably say my favourite of what I've heard is Buchered, and I can't disagree with the later albums being at the bottom. There's an absolute ton of albums I haven't got as well, I'm thinking next year I might try to increase my CC collection. Nice one mate 😊🤘🏻🤘🏻
