    Hank Hill would be proud of how you used that Propane dude! Course I never knew he sounded like Peter from family guy LOL. Great job Jim.

    For the most part, I think all the Fox's idle like that while it runs through the loop. Mine does the same for about a minute or so then settles at 7-800.
    I did have rough idling issues myself and ended up replacing every sensor in the car. But what I think my problem was? The adjustable spacer that came on my new IAC. I stumbled across it by pure accident. I installed it, didn't realize it was an optional thing on the IAC. Mine still being Speed Density, it doesn't like those kinds of gadgets. Pulled it and it ran great again. Had an issue with the MAP sensor too...but that was something different that didn't affect idle. Any way, you did good, replace them both (all as you get time). And base idle rest off Brew2L 👍 Don't forget to put the spout back in after setting timing though, he didn't mention that.
    Hank Hill 😂

    I just did my o2 sensors...drivers side, hard to get off, tight, used PB, came off after a struggle. Passengers side...it was sitting right up against the starter, couldn't get the o2 tools on it (probably because of my x-pipe)...thank God the neighbor had a 7/8th wrench, go it off. Adjusted the TPS and the Idle screw and this thing is finally humming so smoothly. After a few scrapes, bruises, and shoulder pain, (working on ramps too) job is done engine is running solid.

      Lol I’m struggling to get the passenger side off because of that poor ford engineering. Did you use a thin 7/8 wrench? I have just a regular one and it seems to be too blocky for it to fit in so I’m wondering if I get something more thin it’ll fit better.

    • @pavlos413
      @pavlos413 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lxtermi1906 Yes, a 7/8 wrench worked, I don't think it was a thin one...if that's still a problem for you, I'd suggest maybe needle nose vice grip pliers just to loosen it up and then try it by hand.

      The Fox Chamber I can’t complain....orig engine is 29 yrs old, spark plugs, oil changes, alternator & two water pumps, she’s been a good one. I have a iron head gt40 Explorer engine being freshened up to swap with. It’ll be interesting to tear the old one down to inspect it, it has about 300k on it, everybody says coyote swap... I’m old school- I like it stockish...
