I love my 2024 Lyriq Sport. Super comfortable and quiet. The look of it was what sold me on going EV. I get a lot of looks and stares while driving.

People (the 1st letter) that state they having waited 2 years for a car (in this case Ionqi 5) that is currently on lots, will never be able to make a decision.

Hyundai/Kia/Genesis have announced J3400 ports on their vehicles beginning in Q4 of 2024. Not long to wait. Used Tesla Model 3's are amazingly inexpensive . . .

In Canada, if replacing a Lexus ICE for less than $55,000 US, I'd recommend a Polestar 2. Plenty of those available and their pricing in Canada is better than in the US if you look at the exchange rate. Also, good deals on Polestar leases now

Ioniq5 is smaller, has lower ground clearance than ID4. When it comes to charging it is faster DC charging only on Electrify America/Canada. On the contrary Ioniq5 is much slower on Superchargers since those are 400 V Superchargers, very well adapted to VW ID4 while Hyundai Ioniq5 uses the inverter of rear motor which essentially makes it charging at 55 kW on Superchargers. To my taste the ride in Ioniq5 is more comfortable.

The Polestar 2 is an awesome option right now. Used or new. I just leased a single motor long range. Total of $12K off with costco factored in.

This is the year that leasing makes sense. Buy when they all have J3400 and two more years of improvements.

The BZ4X is heavily discounted in Canada and has over 8” ground clearance!

Good shout, as Martyn would say. 🙂
I did notice a good number of Toyota bz4X with surprisingly low prices, but its cold-weather performance hasn't been great. It's improved for 2024, but I haven't seen testing with it yet.

What province does Bob live in? Canada does not have the US$7,500 rebate. Every province has different rebates. BC does not tax used EVs!

The desire for native NACS may also have to do with the Tesla wall charger they already have installed for home charging - shouldn’t have to use an adapter for home charging.

The ID4 Pro S is not sold in Canada with a rebate only the Pro!

For that 3rd case you can get a lot of different nice used EVs at or sometimes below $40,000 right now.
Q4 like was mentioned, the big e-tron, Jaguar I-Pace, Mercedes Benz EQB, Polestar 2, Volvo XC40 or Genesis GV60.
If you’re willing to switch to a sedan BMW i4 or Model S
