Kara and Alex's parents are played by Dean Cain and Helen Slater have both played in the Superman Universe before. In 1985 Helen played Supergirl in the movie. Dean Cain played Superman in Lous and Clark:The New Adventures of Superman

I think in the comics at least female kryptonians are a little bit stronger than males
i think that never been adressed or i missed it, but in case of supergirl, she supposed to be stronger than superman, because she was longer on krypton.

Kara's last name is Zor-El because she's the daughter of Zor-El. Wouldn't Kara's mother's name be Alura El since she married into the House of El?
it's only children who take the fathers name alura is alura in-ze

Either way, Supergirl has Alura's name wrong

While it's a nice show it's hardly reaction worthy. So much of the show is filler and enemy of the week
