This is one of my favorite interviews, understands the rule of law, bold, confident. The chief justice attacked him for no reason; but he stood by his word
I liked the bold contextualized comment on newspaper regarding the license booking and testing procedure in daveyton and really speaking he justified his comment accurately.
Thulare was a very strong candidate here..he was above this JSC no wonder the CJ ended up attacking him through the office he occupied..the CJ ended up being defensive here...its sad.
This man is a Judicial Philosopher. A nerd, He killed all the questions including the CJ's. The CJ is refusing to understand his logic when he articulates the reasons regarding what was published by the media... Respect!
My brother im sorry to say this, but equally so im afraid not to tll the trueth.this knowledge is above the interview pannel.he really deserve this position.he is not justnswering question but he further educate those interviewing him.
Chief Justice did not appreciate that view there at the end. I felt he could have engaged him better on that fact instead of trying to impeach him on what he says is not truth. Otherwise very strong character.
Indeed this guy must be considered for the position.i like his self confidence and how he maintain principle irrespective who he is faced with and how passionate he want the position.
I lost respect for CJ Mogoeng after watching this interview. The CJ should have carried himself professionally. It looks like the CJ catches feelings when criticised. I am glad Thulare stood by his words.
What does Ubuntu mean when we are compelled to seek the assistance of a white owned company to assist with parcels of good for needy children? And then we refer to the legacy inherited by our white counterparts (Latin) which Dali Mpofu refers to as pompous? Or am I being odd in my observation. I see a form of cognitive dissonance at play
I observe that all the people sitting in this interview platform are all people of integrity and of high standing, why have they allowed someone much corruption to ruin the lives of the people in our country? Esp corruption in places of authority, just explain that one
Chief Justice was catching emotions I didn't lyk that about him as a chief Justice his last comment embarrass Mr thulare how do u say next time you should check your fact before u speak on public mxm
If Thulera did not get the job, the reason wasn't because he wasn't qualified. Irrespective of the outcome of the interview, he was clearly my favourite candidate for appointment. Unfortunately, my position clearly doesn't matter. But I can say this of Thulera, he stood above all shoulders. Let me say this to him, Thulera, you have the admiration of all of us who witnessed this interview. I cannot mention names, but learn from me my brother, truth has never been popular.
Thulare J mastered this interview. His appointed was a win for the SA Judiciary. His judgments radiate wisdom.
Excellent interview. Very impressed by him
This is one of my favorite interviews, understands the rule of law, bold, confident.
The chief justice attacked him for no reason; but he stood by his word
I think former chief justice Mogoeng was testing his abilities in enforcing the law
Shocking
I liked the bold contextualized comment on newspaper regarding the license booking and testing procedure in daveyton and really speaking he justified his comment accurately.

This man is just amazing! A great judge he is!
I waited in anticipation for this one.
Mr Thulare maintained his calmness in the face of a barrage of unfair questions by the CJ...
"Contemporaneous" This candidate is extremely strong. CJ personally attacked him at the end of the interview. 😂
Thulare was a very strong candidate here..he was above this JSC no wonder the CJ ended up attacking him through the office he occupied..the CJ ended up being defensive here...its sad.
Very sad the man is bold
This guy is very good, things must change with respect to how magistracy is carried along in the judiciary.
This guy is very good. I hope he gets the post
Very impressive interview by Mr Thulare, soo detailed and bold indeed

very confident judicial officer
Chief Justice did not appreciate that view there at the end. I felt he could have engaged him better on that fact instead of trying to impeach him on what he says is not truth. Otherwise very strong character.

So this is the famous Judge Thulare.A brilliant Judge. ❤❤

How this man did not get a job I am puzzled.
"To the extent🙄🙄🙄🙄"
This man knows his story
100%
This guy is good !!!
Very excellent, articulate and highly intelligent
He should be the one questioning them!
Well said...
Respect Mr Tulare is not shaken
Excellent jurist, an indictment of our system that he was not appointed based off this interview.
Western Cape is blessed to have Judge Thulare
This magistrate is chitty chatty. I wanted to defend him based on adverse article written on his squabble between him and the CJ.
What does Ubuntu mean when we are compelled to seek the assistance of a white owned company to assist with parcels of good for needy children? And then we refer to the legacy inherited by our white counterparts (Latin) which Dali Mpofu refers to as pompous? Or am I being odd in my observation. I see a form of cognitive dissonance at play
he is a good judge and i stand with him ,,even if the cj is against him somehow
What about the Aboriginal nation please explain
I respect thulare
I observe that all the people sitting in this interview platform are all people of integrity and of high standing, why have they allowed someone much corruption to ruin the lives of the people in our country? Esp corruption in places of authority, just explain that one
Friendly smile by chief justice , making the candidate more settled, unlike malema who shows anger when he interview candidates
Started very well,it only went south at end and it looks likes the CJ was very upset with his utterances that he uttered
Chief Justice was catching emotions I didn't lyk that about him as a chief Justice his last comment embarrass Mr thulare how do u say next time you should check your fact before u speak on public mxm
Brilliant Judge
The Chief Justice and the candidate have different views on how to run things. Unfortunately the guy did good in the real interview
Did Mr DM Thulare got the Judgeship job?
Nope...sad
He's now an Acting Judge at the Western Cape High Court
Thats unfair Mr Thulare was the best candidate, its so sad😭😭😭😭
Yohhh wow
