I know i am watching this interview very late but then i am inspired by judge Mbenenge. He is mature and well-articulated. He feels no pressure in answering questions. I am inspired by his leadership style.

I had the opportunity to consult with him in Umtata whilst working for one in the Dept of Home Affairs and it was a marvel to watch him going about what he knows best...very professional and able. Since then i have not left track of him.

I came to watch this interview so that I understand Judge Mbenenge better given the tribunal in his conduct with Andiswa Mengo, He seems to be a man of integrity and a very consumatte professional man. His personal issues are very difficult to decode from his professional background one is attempted to say he is being framed or destroyed. He doesn't come closer to the accusations either he was in love with the woman and something went wrong or the woman was paid to destroy him he does not come across as someone who can commit a crime of sexually harrassment a woman.

I first met him JP Mbenenge in Mthatha High Court , in 2003 he was appearing for Minister of Safety and Security in a big civil claim, he did a very good job in cross examining witnesses and I was impressed...it was a case of a man shot dead by police in Bityi Area on the 21/8/1993 (Saturday) ....I think Van Zyl J was presiding...and his judgments are well thought and researched more so S v Mpofana 1998 (Bail Case dealing with ID parade that should be expedited)...that case has been quoted with approval in many cases and then in 1998 he was Acting Judge (AJ)...Note made on Monday 1/4/2024

Sadly with such experience and profound insight into the justice system, he couldn't control his little flesh desires and allowed it to cloud his sense of justice where his position as JP has an influence into the thinking of a junior staff member who is just a secretary without any law school training.
