This just proves that with great lawyer one can get away with anything. Especially where the NPA prosecutor leaves much to be desired. NPA prosecutors are normally lazy and do not read beyond what is contained in the Criminal Procedure Act. That is why the Judge is saving the day instead of the prosecution putting its argument to oppose this application. The Judge is right in protecting the integrity of the Free State court as this lawyer is definetely from Joburg.

This RSA lousy lazy npa charging a lady for a corruption of 250m rands, really now. Npa is in deep hole, sadly.
I am so inspired just listening to Adv. Loyiso Makapela argue the way she articulates herself! they way she formulates her points! But my goodness, it is the way she engages the Court. We often see legal reps falling apart whenever they debate points outside of their "prepared speech". But she is class!

The delaying tactic is self-defeating as it allows the state more latitude in pressing for more charges against the accused.
They must free this lady. I hate corruption but there is no way a PA can steal R250 million.
She facilitated and managed the processes that led to corruption hence she is alleged to be an active participant in the commission of crimes.
Why should they free an alleged criminal without trial?
